Given that the "match previewer" normally disappears from this site after a couple of months & is never seen again, might we consider inviting Ackers to do the job?
christ, he'd end up posting his personal communications he's had with aliens if you gave him that chance.
the role is open if anyone fancies it - if not I'll get one up 24 hours before KO. Now back to the game! Who's going tonight?
I'm going, first away game since Wycombe in our promotion season, only been to one other away Southampton, time to start getting some more stadiums ticket off.
No, we part company before the game and meet up afterwards, Last I heard there were only restricted view tickets on sale.
Evening all Charlton: Henderson, Solly, Fox, Ben Haim, Bikey, Wilson, Jackson, Cousins, Bulot, Moussa, Tucudean Subs: Pope, Morrison, Gudmudsson, Harriott, Munns, Thomas, Ahearne-Grant. Fulham: Bettinelli; Hoogland, Bodurov, Burn, Stafylidis; Parker; Christensen, Kavanagh; Ruiz; Rodallega, McCormack Subs: Kiraly, Hutchinson, Zverotić, Roberts, Williams, Woodrow, Smith So Fox replaces Wiggins (foot injury according to the OS) at left back and Solly is back in, Wilson being moved up to RM I presume. JBG is back on the bench. Parker starts for Fulham. COYA!
Better get my prediction in quickly before kick-off. i don't want to jinx our chances by failing to post my usual forecast of a defeat. Evidently Big Bob is using some sorcery to keep on making me look a prat in front of everyone (and Dick Plumb especially). 2-0 to Fulham. Normally I plump for draws in local derbies. They so often end up that way to defy the current form of the two teams. But with Vetokele out and Bulot, Moussa and Tucudean in attack I just have no hope. Buyens and Wiggins out as well doesn't help but is maybe less damaging.
Moussa shoots from a long way out and it rolls harmlessly wide. He should really have played Solly in on the right.
Goal Fulham. Parker seizes on a loose ball and drives forward. McCormack is pushed wide but plays the ball in for Parker to fire in off the underside of the bar. Of course it had to be him. 1-0
Goal Fulham. McCormack controls on the edge of the area and fires a shot in. Henderson can only parry it to Rodallega who chests it down and finishes. 2-0
Solly plays the ball inside to Tucudean on the edge of the box, but his shot is tame and easily saved.
