Playing extremely well, just taken the first set against Nadal, who, although not struggling, looks flustered at times when Murray decides it's time to attack.

This could actually be his year...

Nadal is trying too hard to force his will on Murray at the start of the second set and is starting to make errors. More importantly, they're UNFORCED errors.

Murray is a very good player (much more so than Henman) but isn't good enough to win when it really matters or pull out of tough games against I would say 2 of the greatest players ever.

    murray needs to:

hire someone thats going to give him self belief to fall back on when things get tough ie mcenroe or connors
stop flying his friends turned coaches around the world with him because he "likes it that way"
he could also do us all a favour, including himself..and leave his mum at home.

He's not good enough to win a slam, he may have made it to a few finals but every time he gets thumped in straight sets! He may be better than Henman (debatable) but that's not exactly difficult. He has had the misfortune of being around when probably the 2 greatest players of all time have been around, and I'm sure Federer and Nadal's haul of slams would back that up at the end of there career's, but he had a chance against Djokovic in Australia and he was awful.

He will end his career majorless, and be remembered as a consistent top 10 player, nothing more. Basically not alot different to Henman

Very dissapointed with Murray's apparent collapse after winning the first set, however it is very difficult to maintain that agressive play throughout a whole match, only the best players in the world are able to do this. Nadal and Djokovic are the rightful finalists.

I doubt it because Nadal is only a year older than Murray, Djokovic is the same age as him, and Del Potro is younger than him.

Murray has all the tools & firepower to compete with the top players. But in my opinion I don't think he as the mental strength. All the top players when they dig themselves into a hole they seem to become stronger and never give up, Murray just seems to collapse when the going gets tough.

Liam Broady's just collapsed in the boys final after being a set and a break up. Guess we've another one to look forward to...

Dont make me laugh Barnbeb, Murray never has abd never will have tbd tos to beat an on top of his game Nadal, Federer or Djockovic. Tennis is a young mans sport, so at 25 I'd hardly Say Murray has alot left, maybe 2 years of still being in his prime.

He is not in the same class as Nadal and at 25 he is unlikely to ever get to that level, the only way he will ever win a slam is if he gets a very fluke opportunity where the top seeds underperform
