I didn't nick that picture from anywhere. Honest.

Tomorrow sees us face the mighty Greek side that everyone all over the world is well aware of and knows well. Probably.
I expect more wholesale changes and I'm hoping that Pochettino's positivity over Kyle Naughton's injury is well founded.
This is a potential banana skin and a game that we really need to win and win well.

I'm lead to believe that they're a team that will come to frustrate, staying compact and hitting quickly on the break.
We've struggled with that for years, so I'm hoping that we'll see some real width and a proper goal threat.

    I'd go with:

    Vorm
    Naughton Chiriches Fazio Davies
    Lennon Stambouli Dembele Townsend
    Soldado Kane

I think that Pochettino will do it differently, though. 4-2-3-1 with wingers cutting in, unfortunately.

Is Naughton fit PNP? If he is then I'd rather see him in the team for the weekend, we need the balance in the side that a proper RB provides for the Prem IMO. Maybe give him half an hour on Thursday if we can, just to get him back up to speed.

I'd also like to see a departure from the Pochettino norm, namely a 4-3-3 with Vorm, Dier, Chiriches, Fazio, Davies, Bentaleb, Dembele, Stambouli, Lennon, Soldado, Townsend.

But I don't think we'll see anything like that. 4-2-3-1 it will be, probably with similar personnel but very different roles.

Amazing how Paulinho has become completely forgotten, not that I'd argue with either of you guy's line ups though.

The form of Mason and the fact Capoue is needed for his defensive abilities has basically thrown him well out the picture, behind Mason, Capoue, Dembele, Bentaleb and Stambouli it seems. Such a shame for what could have been one of our best signings had he replicated the Confeds Cup/ Corinthians form.

    I'd go for:

    Vorm
    Chiriches, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies
    Paulinho, Stambouli, Dembele
    Townsend, Soldado, Kane

Naughton and Bentaleb are both definitely out.

I'd quite like to start easing Stambouli and Kane into the prem team. So i'd go for:

    Vorm
    RB Fazio Chiriches Davies
    Dembele Paulinho
    Townsend Ceballos Lennon
    Ade

Possibly Bentaleb for Dembele, can't decide.

We've got a real problem right now at RB and might play Dembele there. Problem is I also don't really want to see Chirches anywhere after his recent non performances. A few sqaure pegs
    Vorm
    Dembele, Fazio Stambouli Davies
    Lennon, Paulinho, Ceballos, Townsend
    Kane, Adebayor

Is there any alternative to Dier at RB other than Dembele (who's very left-footed)? Chiriches doesn't exactly inspire confidence at this point.

    Lennon Fazio Chiriches/Vertonghen Davies
    Stambouli Paulinho/Dembele
    Townsend Dembele/Paulinho Kane
    Ade

I think I saw Asteras Tripolis once when it was a full moon and the sky was clear. It was between Andromeda and Ursa Minor

Dembele at RB? Why on earth would we play him there? If any of the CM's have to deputise in that role, surely it'd be a right-footed one and someone who's more defence orientated, I.E. Stambouli?

I don't get why Dembele would play at RB either? He's left footed for starters and hardly what you would call defensively minded.

Stambouli is a good call for the defence

However think it more likely that we would move him into CB and play Kabs on the right?

I'd play soldado up front...might be a worthwhile risk to show faith as, penalty aside he played ok on saturday.
would boost his confidence and could be a man management master stroke.

I have been to Tripolis once . A very bland rural town but surronded by a breathtaking landscape.
On my way to to Olympia , had an hour there . A back of beyond place like the football team.

Looks like we're making sure to get a win and a boost to our goal difference tonight.

    We're also playing Adebayor.

Your second statement contradicts your first...

I'm quite annoyed that soldado is not starting. He needs goals to build his confidence and he's only going to get that by starts.

Starting kane and adebayor is a statement from poch I think.
