Sadly A4L has jumped ship, so I thought I'd start this one. Fulham is my second favourite London ground, although I'd rather Magath was still in charge there.Buyens will be missing, so assuming Cousins replaces him in the middle (at last), I wonder who will play wide left? If Bulot gets the nod the Harriotts future at Charlton will look uncertain, to say the least. Apart from that I don't anticipate any changes from Tuesday.

Are Vetokele and JBG Defiantly out?

With them and Buyens missing we are starting to look very light weight

    Cheers FHB <ok>

If JBG and Vetokele are definitely out, then I think I think Dick's got the team nailed on.

We need no reminding of what McCormack can do, but I feel more confident with the man mountain and his greedy accomplice next to him. I had to wikipedia Fulhams team to see who was still there. It's an average Championship squad, which goes to show the dangers of employing a foreign coach who has no knowledge of the Championship (that's not a dig at Bob in case it reads that way). I saw Mark Fotheringham joined in the summer, he was average at best when we were chasing him during the League One days. It's actually quite sad seeing the overhaul and what Magath left them with.

Scott Parker will be fired up, though he goes in to every game with that mentality. He seems to just sit in front of that back 4 these days, no swashbuckling runs of old. This will be a great test for Cousins if he plays in the middle and one I'm relishing watching.

I'm confident we can get something out of the game. I know we had the sky ''hoodoo'', but if we can stay organised then I see it going very similar to Bolton.

A cheeky 0-1 to us. Moussa to score.

Ketts reckons that JBG and Vetokele should be back for the Sheffield Wednesday game.

Yes, not a lot of other options, though I would prefer to see Daniel instead of Ansah. More potential for the future and can shadow more positions.

The absences will have two beneficial effects if Wilson plays in front of Solly (our best right-side pairing) and Cousins moves to the middle (his best position).

Main worry is stamina with three games in seven days. We have four in that line-up who are notorious "faders" plus Solly who has ongoing fitness issues.

The answer to so many of our problems would have been Kemorgant. To improve our pathetic "goals for" total, to absorb much of the physical challenge and free Vetokele and the other light-weights to utilise their skills, and to act as catalyst between the Anglophone and Francophone members of the squad.

Can we stop the we need Kermogant comments, he has gone. We also need Derek Hales and your namesake Eddie Firmani. You call it our pathetic goals for total, it only takes one goal to win a game.
I am getting sick and tired of your negativity Eddie, we are seventh in the table. Our squad has got more holes in it than a moth eaten blanket. Bob Peeters is doing a great job with a limited squad. Yes the football is not good, but what did you expect, Bayern Munich.

I thought you said that our next win would not come till the Blackpool game? You got that wrong. I know you don't like Peeters and RD, but FFS cut them a bit of slack

Hello folks. I'm looking forward to the game. Should be a good one. I think on form both teams are pretty even. Last 6 league games we have got 10 points and Charlton 9.
Magath did a terrible job for us. It couldn't have got any worse and Symons has done a good job in building team spirit and putting out a fairly settled side.

have a good evening if you're going.

FHB - you are a gentleman, and an Iron Bru drinker <applause>

Looking forward to a trip to the Cottage tomorrow night.

Hope to see us being a bit more positive than in recent games. Fulham have some decent players on paper, so this is not a game for the "30% Possession" tactics. Also hoping that Bulot, Moussa and Tucadean don't start. I would rather see three hairy stray dogs from Sparrows Lane get a go.

I'm intrigued as to why you wouldn't start Tucudean given the massive role he played in both our goals on Tuesday. Assuming Igor is still out he's our only real recognised senior striker. I'd like to see Ahearne-Grant start alongside him if Moussa doesn't, but definitely not KAG or anyone on his own, particularly as (and here I agree with you) we should be aiming to be more positive and have 2 up front.

I've been as scathing as Vol about Tucudean, but his goal on Tuesday, which came while I was wondering if he'd make it to H/T without being subbed, has changed my mind. It was absolutely brilliant, the sort of thing you pay your money to see, Where else is a goal going to come from? I do agree about Bulot though, he had no right to walk into the team, was poor for the U-21's and is ineffective for us. I'd have Munns in the team instead.

We are down to the bare bones, Tucudean and Moussa will have to start and it will be between Bulot and The Harriotts.

FHB, you won't be here much longer. Belvedere used to do the match thread, and vanished into the summer mist. Then A4L took over, did a splendid job, and is now missing in action. This job has a curse on it . Be warned!

<laugh> good point! We'll have to tempt FHB with his own music corner to keep him on board.

Really looking forward to this game now (perhaps helps that I booked a half day at work and will be in the pub come 3) - which is usually a bad omen. Looking at the betting market I'm going for charlton 1-0, draw HT/Charlton full time.

    my team :

    henderson
    solly TBH bikey wiggins
    wilson jacko mousa cousins JBG
    tucudean

wilson could go in the middle as he used to play there for stevenage. and mousa could then go left and JBG on the right.

we are down to the bare bones arent we?!

If he does he owes Bob a favour; let's hope he repays it tonight.
