I don't think he is. On yesterdays showing, he'd be at the bottom of the pile....and stay there for some time.

Not when you have Borini and Lambert as back up.

I'd say more like a Coutinho alternative.

Not if he dosnt put in the effort. He has the skills but doesnt use them.

inevitable in build up to game between the two clubs?

logical leap of putting two rumours together?

    utter fantasy?

It'd be like asking pepe to come back... according to some he's well past it, well I'll say right now casillas is so far past it its untrue.

With the trouble in Ukraine we should be looking to get a Shaktar player or two before someone else does surely? Donbass Arena has been bombed three times since the start of the summer hasn't it? There's a lot of talent there in Alex Teixera, Douglas Costa, Fernando, maybe Luiz Adriano.

Apparently Konoplyanka and Yarmolenko are available on bosmans this summer so will be moved in January for a small fee. Would take Yarmolenko certainly.

Yarmolenko more than Konoplyanka? I don't much about them, but from what I hear, I thought the Plank would be more suited to our game (e.g. more energy/running). He also played better against England, not that that means much.

I think both players are very talented - I would rather have Kono, think he's a quality player.

my current theory is lfc are paying now for failures in summer 2013... our strategy is driving purchases of young players who don't make instant impacts

we bought aspas, sahko, toure and mingolet and loaned in cissohko and moses and players who should have made impacts to first 11.... neither loan was worth the money. but Toure and aspas were not good at all. toure gvae a little but is now pointless... coates would be as good for cheaper. Mingolet is a flop and sahko has fallen out with rodgers.

where other teams added 2/3 players successfully we stood still and lost suarez too....

as of today we seem to be saying allen is important so add coutinho and sturridge to that and these are the players from 2012 we use now... our buys this year lovern and lallana may be call that next year or even after christmas but not now.... we are going to have to buy an instant impact forward SOON.

I'd not write off any of the young lads but alberto looks shaky, ilori is interesting but not yet, can, markovic, origi... all need time and experience.

Our first 11 is suffering due to mistakes so we need to invest in a quality forward in january and they must have instant impact.

not convinced we have much funds for jan if any, unless we sell first, ie borini was supposed to go, was there one other? etc.

we will probably be bargain hunting again no doubt as well.

Rumours that Inter are ready to bid for Borini - but I wouldn't be surprised if those tight a*ses only put in a loan bid!

January is a difficult market really. The strikers on my list would be:

    - Pierre Emerick Aubameyang
    - Lacazette
    - Kevin Volland

3 quick, versatile players who FIT our style of play. Sell Borini and even Lambert, with Balotelli being the back up/ Plan B option.

Also, Kevin Trapp, the keeper from Germany would be very good.

Haha where is Bluff - not heard from him in a while ... unless he changed his name?

But the targets I listed above are the type of striker we need either to partner Sturridge or even as a back up in case the inevitable happens, Sturridge gets injured.

Our approach to signing Suarez's replacement in the summer was ridiculous.

  17. Not seen Bluff too much either. He was a briefly a week or two back but other than that I've not seen him.

Can't argue with the targets you suggested and like you and RHC, I'd love Pierre <ok>

I've just had a client and me ****ed about by a candidate based In Belgium. She had a telephone interview arranged for last Friday, but didn't answer when the client called. She emailed in reply saying she'd come down with flu, so it was rearranged for 11.00 am today (UK time). He phoned 3 times and left a message as again, she didn't answer. She then called him and said she wasn't very good with time <yikes> They agreed that the client would call at 1.00 pm. She didn't answer - AGAIN. She's a ****ing frog <grr>
