Certain Taarabt will go now why shouldn't he? He is far too good for any Redknapp team.

Harold can't manage him mind you he seems to have trouble managing anyone or himself

QPR has become a comic strip
Just ponder and ask yourselves how did that happen?

To be fair, it was Harry's choice to do that live on the radio <ok>

Exactly, and looking at those photos of Taarabt, Harry's ridiculous 3 stone (42 lbs!) overweight suggestion is an outright lie, together with his recent comment, Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp claims Les Ferdinand's title at Loftus Road is 'stupid' , could well seal his fate with Tony Fernandes. So even though the team did perform very well against Liverpool, if you took Harry out of the equation, with Tim Sherwood at the helm, and all the others (Hoddle, Les, perhaps Chris Ramsey coming in), there no reason why we couldn't expect similar levels of performance in future matches, and perhaps a bit more luck.

Has this not occurred to anyone else, or have there been two friendlies that Taarabt was involved in?

I don't recall the quote but assume it's the friendly from Thursday before last. The inconsistency with message doesn't surprise me though.

I also don't buy into the disruptive element part when both Caulker and Austin have praised his potential worth some two months apart.

Adel Taraabt criticism from QPR boss Harry Redknapp sparked by player walking out of team meeting prior to Liverpool game

Harry Redknapp’s criticism of Adel Taarabt after Sunday’s defeat to Liverpool was sparked in part by the Moroccan international walking out of a pre-match team meeting when he was not named in the team or on the bench for the game.

The Queens Park Rangers manager is understood to have been furious before the game at Taarabt’s reaction to being left out. The club were not sure whether the 25-year-old stayed to watch the match. Earlier in the week he had been under consideration to start the game and Redknapp asked staff to organise a match at the training ground with the express purpose of testing Taarabt’s fitness. It was in that game he was judged to be well off the pace.

After the game, when asked whether Taarabt was injured, Redknapp said that the player was “not fit to play football, unfortunately. He played in a reserve game the other day and I could have run about more than he did.” Later he added that he could no longer “protect people, who don’t want to run about and train, and are about three stone overweight.”

One of the longest serving players at the club, Taarabt was on loan at Fulham and Milan last season but no permanent deal was forthcoming. It would look impossible for him to make a comeback now for the club and he is likely to leave in January, six months before his contract expires.

The club’s midfielder Karl Henry admitted that the side had played like “Under-11s in twice conceding to Liverpool in the last four minutes of their injury-time defeat. Harry was not happy. He was shouting at us of course, we threw it away. It was naive from us, unprofessional. It can't happen.

“Someone said in the dressing room that it wouldn't have even happened in an Under-11s game. The goals we conceded were shocking. How were we unprofessional? Like with the first goal. They take a quick free kick and we were asleep. It was ridiculous.

“Then having them break on us for the second goal, running out of their box quicker than we did. You cross the ball and it drops in their box and it's not possible that they have four of five bodies in our box and we're not with them. That shouldn't be possible.

He continued: “You get to 2-2 late on in the game - you don't concede. But we dropped the free kick short rather than run it in the stand or making it sure it's long, in the corner, somewhere else.”

When did harry say he was three stone over weight. He said he was not match fit and when he played in the reserves, he put little effort in. To me this sounds like Harry is having problems with Adel's attitude.

This story needs it's own thread, good call mate. Let it run it's course and maybe merge the two at a later date.

It makes me sick though, after the performance yesterday all we talk about (again) is Adel. It doesn't do us the supporters any good and it definitely doesn't aid the club. This saga needs to end sooner rather than later.

Who's fault is that though mate?
Taarabt shouldn't have walked out of the meeting, but it won't be the first time that's happened all over the World when a player is left out!

Redknapp has lied through his teeth and now his crap attitude towards training and tactics has been laid bare. Taarabt isn't overweight which is clear from the photos.

He says it in the full interview mate
Obviously he was exagerating but making a point. seems to me he's had enough but at least he had a bit of passion.

AT has played 5 games in 2 seasons and still gets bought into every press conference. I get bored reading it here so god knows how Harry must feel about the subject.

In the interview after the Liverpool game, Redknapp said that Taarabt was three stones overweight. Have a listen to it, I think it's on the other thread.

Adel has shown Harry up here.

Lose against Villa and bye bye Harry. Lets get a manager in who can get the best out of our best players and not isolate them after losing their rag.

Redknapp is as thick as 2 short planks. He should end this with an apology to Adel all because he took the bait from journo's who could see he hadn't calned down yet

All over the papers & on radio something is not right, do we need this right now struggling as we are, this has got to be sorted one way on another very quickly as we will have the same scenario as two seasons ago, getting a bit peed off with it all, don't the answer at present.

Just ponder and ask yourselves how did that happen?

Seems no one can manage him...Warnock struggled, Hughes couldn't...he went to Fulham and they sent him back...and Milan didn't want him or if they did it was for 2p or something...No doubt Harry was ott with his comments about Adel, but do you not think the player himself should be doing something to get into the team, like show a bit of commitment in training, run....or god forbid track back ..Adel is a luxury player and as much as I like him we can't carry him in our current position at the foot of the table.
Just my opinion !

This was inevitable I suppose.

It now puts TF in a position whereby he either needs to do a Julio Cesar on Adel or get shot of Arry. If we were sat on 10 points that would be a no-brainer.

With his toys out of pram antics and constant shirking of responsibility, I know who needs to go... but who do I mean?

This just needs to get resolved soon and I doubt a reconciliation is on the cards.

agreed....I think TF is now forced into a corner where he has to make a decision quickly

There are pro's and cons for both sides, but he has to put the club first this time. This again makes us look like ammetuers and certainly cant be helping the team.
the damage was done seasons ago and they just cannot and will not work together. Im not going tto defend either of them as they have both F-d up.
Just deal with it now please TF and lets move forward.

He looked pregnant in his 2nd last (I think) home game
I was embarrassed for him
We can all hold it in for a photo
He clearly can't run enough for the premiership
After Saturday do you really want him on last 20 ahead of Vargas or Charlie or Bobby?
Don't live on what someone did 4 years ago in a lower league
Let Niko and others do the creative stuff
(yes I loved him tooo at the time!)
