Not been on here for a while.

Felt a need to post today, after going to my first match in nearly ten months, because of work commitments.

I want at least an 8 for Vergini's finish. The rest can suck me balls.

Seems strange that we win 8-0 and yet I'm not going to award any 10s. And just the one 9, to Tadic.

8s across the board elsewhere.

Lovren, Lallana, Rickie, Shaw. Yeah, I'm quite happy with Toby, Tadic, Pelle and Bertrand thanks. Bertrand in particular - unlike the £30m kid, this guy can actually score and assist!
 
I thought Forster was a bit shaky today and while I think he is decent I am still not convinced he is as good a quality signing as the others (except Long).
 
Yeah, I thought Forster was a bit hit-or-miss today. The CB defense was also a little sketchy at times in the first half. Long was Long-ish again, working hard and keeping the defense occupied to some extent but not presenting enough of a direct threat himself. Not like anyone was remotely close to terrible or that it mattered. But I guess 7's for those guys.

Tadic would be my MOTM, which I guess makes him a 9 or 10. 8's or 9's for everyone else.

Every one of those players, incredibly, is an improvement on his predecessor.
 
Was i at the same match? Not being a pessimist but i think we could have played better/have played better, we just got lucky on some of the goals. Granted Tadic and Pelle had a blinder but i think more realistic ratings would be 8 for fullbacks and pelle 9 for tadic and 7 for everyone else (maybe a 6 for forster, and mayuka) We did play well but pelle missed a couple of good chances and we still looked a bit ropey at the back. Any improvement on an 8-0 is welcome!
