JRod...will be 7-8 weeks until he can train with the other players.
Everyone is fit after international break...2 arriving from Africa today.
Was interested in Holland job, but not any more. Hopes to see out his contract here.
Regrets poor start for Holland but not his problem.
Sunderland's draws suggests they are hard to beat.
Not worried about Long...he is still adapting to new role.
 
Ronald Koeman: “No players have come back with injuries. We still have to wait with Mayuka and Mané. I will speak with them.

Koeman: “I am now the manager of Southampton. There’s no chance to move out of this club.”

Whooops...forgot Pelle.

Koeman said he was talked about when in Holland for an international call up, but it may be that it was right to call him up when he proved himself in a bigger league. There was never a question about Pelle's quality...only about whether he could succeed in the English league. He has now proved he can. Pelle is a leader which is needed...we don't just need one Captain.

Newbie here coming down to St Mary's from St Albans

Second game of the Season (went to Arsenal league cup game - that was tricky in the Arsenal end when Clyne screamer went in!) first at St Marys under Koeman, can't wait as i'm taking my daughter to her 1st Saints game. Really positive about Saints under Koeman, we reallly owe Sunderland and Poyet. Got my tickets the next day after booking it, totally impressed with that.

Shoulder a bit bruised...?....went out and played golf just after I had mine was a bit sorry later......alright now though..... A few of my friends said they had a reaction this time.....mainly the snivels though!
 
I don't react badly to injections (my ex for instance always swelled up at injections sites....serves him right :)), but even minor temperature rises makes sleep difficult. At least, being retired, I can catnap later. Nice incident though...the chemist couldn't believe I was 64...said I looked great for my age #smug
