Just downloaded his second book, his first was a cracker. Anyone else reading/going to be reading it?
No thanks, the guy is a jerk who thinks he is above everyone else. I think he needs to spend a bit time asking himself why everyone seems to have a problem with him and work out a possible common denominator. A hint for Mr Keane: It's you!
Agree with Project. Keane is a vindictive, horrible individual who unfortunately was blessed with huge talent. Football sort of does that sometimes doesn't it? A nasty piece of work that has buliied his way through life so I'd rather eat my own **** than buy his poxy book. Clear enough, Valley?
His tackle in Halland was disgraceful, ever since then I can stand the man. Think he's full of ****!!!
I suppose Halland spitting on him and calling him a cheat when he laying on the floor having snapped his cruciate was disgraceful too
I admire keane for standing up and not taking bullshit from anyone. His book is a good read and i recommend fans everywhere to read his book...
Agree to the spitting, but Keane went out to nobble Halland in that game and unfortunately for Keane he came out worse.
If you read the first chapter of the second book he says that they'd played each other 4 times after the cruciate injury before he nailed him. I always assumed that it was the first meeting between the pair after Keano's injury. Halland also played 4 days later yet tried to sue Keano for 'finishing' his career. He also suggests that he got stitched up by the ghost writer in the way in which he wrote the incident.
Good read for you if you watched The Wolf of Wall Street, is read the book. ****ing hell the drugs Jordan Bellfort did, he took enough drugs to kill and elephant each day.
I've heard the book is a very good read which is why I haven't watched the film, going to read the book over half term
Thats what I assumed as well, live and learn, live and learn. Must say not a big fan of books on footballers, I started Ash's book got quarter the way through it and stopped.
A lot of it is very different from the film, the film moves things around in the wrong context of when it actually happened in his life. But his drug taking is unbelievable, he should be dead now.
Imagine a night out with Bellfort and Hunter S Thompson!!! Would that be the best way to commit suicide?!
