bad gateway

Is there a problem on the site...when I click on most threads a message saying bad gateway 502 appears...
Anyone know why?

 

Not had that happen to me and can't see anything elsewhere about it at the moment. Let me know if it keeps happening and I'll raise the issue.

 

Its weird ... only happens on my tablet.
the english accent thread opens fine but this one comes up with error message...I have had to use my phone to read your response and to write this.
not having a problem on any other site with my tablet.

Only happens on my phone. Sometimes I get ip address banned if im on 3g/4g as well

I think you may have set your WUM filter too high. My articles (as you know) are always WUM-free, so they will, inevitably, pass safely through the filter at whatever level you may set it, but that won't be the case for the majority of articles on this board. Whilst this board is, on balance, one of the lesser known for wummery, nonetheless there is still a fair amount of wummery in other threads compared with my threads. If you lower the threshold on your tablet's WUM-filter, you should find that most threads open without error.

Just, for chrissake, don't use your tablet to go on either the Gooner or Mouser boards! You'll blow your tablet's motherboard.

I've been having it on my phone too, but nothing so far from my desktop. I'll have a word and report back.

 

Adjust your WUM filter, PNP. That'll do the trick.

It's what I call "the reverse double-WUM" (a technique employed only by the most subtle of WUM Masters). It is so subtle that it can fool even the best of WUM filters.

I feel your pain, mate, I really do. However, you should take your anger out on Apple and Samsung, and perhaps - just maybe - they'll include a WUM filter in their next OS upgrades.
