So! The games have kicked off and there is no thread that I can see for this most unwelcome break in the PL.

England are well......England

I don't see the point of having Clyne in the squad and then playing a CB out of position against San Marino for a start...

Lets hope that the rest of our international players aren't playing games that the supporters will sleep through
 
The stream I was watching had the commentary about 5 minutes ahead of the pictures. So talk of the goal but no sign on screen. <laugh>

I've changed streams.

The football alone would do that tonight!

I do have to feel a little sorry for the England players in this game, because if they don't win by at least 5 they will get slammed, and if they do win by a big margin then, well, its just San Marino.

Then again they are professional footballers so my sympathy is somewhat limited in the grand scheme of things.
 
We seem to play Sam Marino quite often.

However I am unable to remember a single moment from any game against them.

Our big group rivals Switzerland and Slovenia are at 0-0 in Slovenia.

Spain are 1-0 down away to Slovakia.

**** all else interesting is happening.
 
It really is farcical that a bunch of so-called adults can't figure out how to pick sides for a Euro championship without it involving zillionaire collections of professional athletes playing accountants, factory workers and store clerks. UEFA couldn't be involved, could it?

I know, accountants, factory workers and store clerks have to take time off, fly across Europe to have to play these boring professionals. Stick to the park next time and you can take the dog.
 
We've had a goal wrongly disallowed!

I think its unlikely to affect the eventual outcome of the game
 
Every time a goal is scored my stream stops, I have not seen one goal as yet. <laugh>
