Any team with any kind of promotion aspirations should be beating Rotherham at home, should have been a home banker for you.
Forgot to mention despite only scoring 1 goal in 2 games, we've still got the best goal difference of any team. Strange that when we win its lucky, but when we lose its Adams fault.
Yet, despite our obvious poor home form, you'll need to win 6-0 against Forst tomorrow to go above us. I think we'll fare much better against teams who try and come out and play. Rotherham have beaten Wolves this season. They're no mugs.
To put it into perspective, we have 11 points from our 6 home games, whereas Lambert's 2011 Championship team had 9 points from the first 6 home games. It'll never be easy in this league, but I still think City have the best team in this league.
Well done? Anyone who watched the last two games knows that we were unlucky. We're not far off hitting top form home and away. A few tweaks to the system and I'm sure we'll start winning at home again. The fact remains every team in the Championship wants to be where we are, even Ipswich.
Things just averaging out at the moment. We had the rub of the green in the first few games with deflections, decisions and Grabban getting two bites at each goal. Today the woodwork and deflections didn't land in our favour. Importantly we're still top and creating lots of chances too.
Welly - I don't think you understand the phrase "it's a marathon not a sprint"... You're telling us we should sprint up the points chart by smashing the like of Rotherham and now you're telling us to be patient as it's a marathon. We know that. I actually think Neil is pacing us quite well. We should have got six points from our last two games, but frankly we've been terribly unlucky with the ref (and some poor finishing...) but the points board has just about ticked over and we're still on top. Jogging the marathon.
Have been to the last two home games and in each, we could have scored at least four in each but for poor luck and poor finishing. Chances are being created (42 attempts on goal) over the two games, I'm confident goals will come, although I 'd give Grabban a 'rest' and start with Lafferty.
I think Neil is pacing us quite well... Ah so it's all part of his great master plan to drop points at home to teams that you should be comfortably beating!
I'll repeat what I said on your board cos you won't see it over there! It's good to see your obsession with us is continuing! Of course, because we'd like you to get a result today, you'll lose on purpose!
The pacing it is to do with panicking over dropped points, rotating the squad, etc. Adams has stayed calm, rightly so. Our luck won't always be that bad so while the scoreboard hasn't ticked over as hoped it's still moving
If KIO Isn't doing the MDT's I can step in for a few games alternatively If someone else wants to do one I am more than happy to do sod all.
