As we all know LFC has appointed many many managers who've run into the same issues.

well I've a really simple solution.

Lets sack david brent and appoint stevie me (i hope tobes this is how you'd say it) then Carragher the bottle can be forced back as assistant to sort out the defense and gerrard would be so busy as manager he'd finally be dropped. By the only perosn in the universe who could it seems.

really simply solution to really complex issue this... genius IMO.

in Fact lets go further and appoint Balotelli director of football and maybe coutinho as chief scout so he can f off to brazil for a good reaosn rather than bench warming ego trip.
 
bit like when kenny went player manager and we won the title? genius, probably the only way gerrard will get a prem medal sadly.

havent we moved on from old school way of doing things though? ie bootroom etc, so even though i know you is taking the piss, i can see the merits in this as we need someone at the club who understands the club inside out.

would gerrard constantly pick himself though, that's the only problem lol.
 
we could do it like roy of the rovers.... cut one of his legs off and make him pick his son... oh wait... he doesn't have one... lack of foresight there stevie.
 
Should never have sacked Rafa, we've been paying for it ever since. Since he isn't coming back (wasn't even shortlisted last time around), and since it's apparent that last season was driven by Luis - and not Brendan - we need to find a new manager who can win. Once we get that we can think about a manager who can win pretty. Tony Pulis anyone?:)
 
We should sign Neville and Carragher as backroom staff and sack whoever the **** is supposed to be coaching our defenders.

Failing that if they're committed long term to Sky, sign any one of us from this board and sack whoever the **** is coaching our defenders or advising Rodgers on team selection. We could surely do a better job and tell him some simple truths about what not to do and what to stick with.

Oh I hate what Tony Pulis brings to the game, that was more said tongue on cheek - my point is that we need our defence fixed, and if Brendan cannot do it, we need someone who can. We have spent £54m on the back 4 since summer 2013, by my recognition - and not counting Kolo Toure & Aly Cissokho, who were free/loan but cost heavy. Its not lack of transfers that is the issue ...
 
I like the fact how OP is semi serious until the last paragraph, where his imagination flies off atwitter and birdshits all over his own precarious suggestion.
