I'm surprised at the lack of classical music input on this thread as yet.
Now we're talking, some beautiful classical pieces out there. The genius of Mozart...
don't know if anyone here has heard of this band....Deaf School from circa '78. still one of my favourite bands, and saw them a few times back in the day.
Cheers for sharing that aqualung. I have never heard of this band before. I look forward to more input from you on our music thread.
I'm sorry Welly, I think your sound and I like lots of the music you listen to but, that was f-ing awful mate. must try harder, lol. I have +repped you anyway to show there is no hard feelings. I just can't stand cheesy happy hardcore.
thanks mate...this is one of the best music threads on a QPR forum I've seen...Yep, Deaf School from Liverpool, had a bit of a cult/underground following in the late 70's. Were always compared to Roxy, but personally thought they were better. The female singer Bette Bright, is now married to Suggs, Madness.
Cheers bud. A big shout must go to Sooper and Uber, Stroller, Queesnlander!, Roller and too many others to mention for the quality input on our thread. Again, welcome aboard as the more the merrier!
An all time favourite song - had tickets for Skynyrd at Hammersmith but their plane went down sadly....never did get to see them live. Ronnie van Zant one of the best rock voices around imo.
