Do you not see the irony of you post...if we were terrible what were you for not beating us?
After you scored in the 1st minute in the previous NLD you did sod all going forward ... was that you being terrible or being professional?
We defended well and deserved our point...defending is a valid part of football...and it dont make you terrible

I thought it was well balanced and you defended quite well. But Lloris did start time wasting in the 15th minute which was quite funny.

You did defend well, you had more structure and organisation than recent Tottenham teams too, but there was next to no creativity or attacking desire.
Terrible may have been harsh, 3 gallons of beer and a bottle of red may have taken its' toll at the time of posting !

It's not just about having money available but being able to spend it in an effective way. Unless you're Man City, money is an important consideration and thus it is no point just spending for the sake of it, if the right players aren't available or deals fall through. It's pretty naive to say just spend just chuck around a few tens of millions and you'll get the players you want, there's way more to football transfers than that. To build a decent, title-winning side takes time even if money is available throughout that period a.

    I don't get this thread.

I'm certainly not a member of the rose-tinted brigade but this is a massive overreaction.

We outplayed Spurs (weren't anywhere near our best I'll admit) but didn't win the game. We've not really hit second gear so far this Season.. not the best start in terms of points or performances but its obvious we are going to improve. We have a few holes in the squad but overall its a pretty damn solid side.

Derbys are nearly always tight.. you can't expect us to win every time then throw a tantrum when we don't. Get a f**ing grip.

This is a typical tantrum thread. Designed to start a spat with the 'Rose tinted Brigade' except they don't actually exist. So nobody is biting.

Nearly everybody (bar a couple) on this board call it as it is with Arsenal, they point out where we need to improve, but also recognise where we do well. For the most part this board has fairly balanced opinion, with degrees either way. But there are a couple who are determined to throw their toys out of the pram when we don't win (even when we do it's 'papering over the cracks') and look to try and drive a wedge between Arsenal fans.

It's the worst kind of wumming in my opinion.

    clap fucking clap.

we outplayed the worst spurs side for years at our ground and didnt lose.

Give the man another 10 year contract.

Things are definitely getting rosier for us.

I wonder if matth and edward the bin man will through such tantrums if united dont beat arsenal. They are children or suffer from a learning difficulty so can be excused.

Whats you excuse for this tantrum? Nappy rash?

its not arrogance , just the truth .

If you had a striker instead of Adebayor , you would have won .

stop with the facts already ...........you know they dont like to see such things.

    <laugh>

i seem to recall someone before the game saying wenger was going to " put another spurs manager to the sword. "

yeah , close werent we , grabbing a point from behind.

guess that sword has got a bit blunt as he gets older.

at what point does ineptitude become negligence............mmm

You're acting like 'when we don't win' that it's something rare and that we've been the majority of our games this season, which we haven't, typical tinted rose brigade, and then turns around and says but i'm not spinning anything.

We've only won 1 in our last 6, take that and smoke it with your positive spin job.

3 wins out of our last 10 games, yeah everything is fine, this is just an overreaction....What more proof do you need as to how blind the tinted rose brigade are, forever blind and up Arsene Wenger's arse.

As an outsider I can see A87's point of view, but I suppose most Arsenal fans are just content with 4th place year in year out and participation in the CL? (actual question, not a wum).
