Someone has to make way for Ravel Morrisson.

Yesterday - I thought Daehli and Pilkington were superb.

Gunner and Whitts done their jobs. I see Adeyemi and Ralls as the eventual replacements for these 2.

Noone did not have a good game but clearly needs the games to come back to the player we know he can be.

After a win yesterday its difficult to leave anyone out. BUT its obvious hes completely different class to everyone else that we have to put him in.

I think id leave out Daehli (would be very harsh though)

You may be right but as its against his former team I expect him to play.

Nice to have a difficult decision though after the cr@p we had to put up with under Ole.

Two reasons I'd prefer to see Noone start on the bench. First is that it should ensure that Daehli gets a bit of first team continuity - the little guy is clearly a class act playing in the right position.

Secondly, I'd prefer Noone to come on as a second half impact sub and play flat out for half an hour rather than try to pace himself for a whole game - he is clearly off his pace at the moment.

Ravel and Daehli playing in number 10 and 8 roles behind Jones would be frightening for defences to face. Pilks for width, with Whitts and Gunnar midfield would be the way I'd start it.

i thought Daehli had an absolute shocker first half (he did improve second half) and he kept giving possession away to the opposition because of his lack of strength.

Daehli deserves props for yesterday's game he ran his little boots off and took so much responsibility. You had a 19 year old out there shooting at his older team mates, never hiding, always looking for the ball. He worked tirelessly, so much heart and bravery in that little guy.
Not everything he did payed off but until Morrison came on daehli was the only City player looking to link up play from the defence to the attacking players. He saw a lot of the ball and on several occasions misplaced his passes which was frustrating.
I wouldn't say this was due to him having a shocker. He is positive on the ball and suffers from lack of movement around him. He grew in confidence as the game went on ( it was his first game as no 10 after all) and got better and better. Morrison complimented his playing style brilliantly, two skilful players with the ball at their feet all off a sudden we looked capable of retaining possession and putting together more then two moves. For my money daehli and Morrison must play together as their style compliment each other perfectly.
Normally I would say we should bench pilkington, but noone is well off pace so on current form it should be him.
I would also say that the next manager needs to figure out a better pairing than whitts and Gunnar. They played well but I think they are both to slow together. Play one of them not both.

Noone needs to regain his fitness, not a smidge of the player yesterday we know he can be..

Daehli had a good game imo.. Needs to keep playing. I see something magic in him personally

people talking about daehli being left out? noone who needs the games beings left out??

are you people afraid to even consider leaving out whittingham and gunnarson? our centre mid is the weakest in the division. You lot are as laughable as OGS dropping whittingham after 35 minutes for being pathetic and then promising him the last 6 games..

Sorry but it would take alot for me to say 'Leave Whittingham out' still one of the best players at the club in my humble opinion.

Terry Phillips goes for a 5 man midfield with Adeyami for Daehli and no other changes from the starting line up v Sheff Wed (subject to Fabio being fit).

Connelly was unfit but is now available for selection.

Brighton haven't scored for ages nor conceded for ages will something give tonight?

Daehli will have some up and downs but I see him as a future club leader. Captain material for sure!
