Deserves a ban for bad grammar. No Dai that's nothing to do with your granny. But he's right when he says " I've never seen dirty play like that since Leeds were in the premier " Sunderland were shocking today.
Tiendalli is injured! Depends when he recovers. I would go with Jaz - he was good against Everton and did ok today even though he probably wasn't expecting to get on. I'd look at ......................... Fab Jaz .... Fernandez ..... Ash ....... Taylor (no alternative) ... ................... Shelvey ............ Dyer ....... Emnes .......... Ki .......... Montero ........................... Bony
Time to make a few changes imo . Poor Sunderland , another draw.A team could go undefeated and still get relegated since 3 points for a win .
the thing is roof you are like many on here that wrongly expect the guys to put in a commanding performance every game they play and quite frankly no team will do that this season. We were poor today but we still got a point away from home so we cant grumble at the end of the day. we could have collapsed after rangel got sent of but we held firm and got the point we deserved as Sunderland definitely didn't deserve to win the game....
Maybe , maybe not but we were lucky. I'm not buying the 'heroic backs to the wall rubbish'. We defended OK but both Fletcher and Wickham missed sitters and we should have lost that game, absolutely no doubt imo. Even the reporters on the game say we got away with a point we "probably didn't deserve". That's a direct quote. Can't disagree with it really. Two poor displays on the day but they were marginally less poor. The stats confirm it, though losing an ill-disciplined defender didn't help (Rangel didn't deserve the second but gobbed off for his first). Sunderland were pants but on another day we would have lost to a pants side. Lucky for sure, but you need a bit of that during a season and a point away from home is always welcome. Just my opinion.
Points are going on the board and that's all I care about, Sunderland on the other hand look like the could well be in the dogfight come seasons end!.........
You might be right, Phill. They came across a side not playing well today and failed to put us to the sword. If they keep doing that and keep getting draws they'll be in trouble. Judging by some of their tool fans' comments over the past two days I won't cry any tears. They've flirted with relegation quite a bit in recent times haven't they?
sunderland were pants and we were equally pants...These type of games happen and we will see it again a few times this season...A good point gained as far as im concerned in a rubbish game...We would have lost this last season as we use to go to pieces with a man sent off so im happy we saw the game out and came away with a point that sent us up into the top 4....you cant grumble about that....
