Outstanding restaurant that place, stands up against anything out there in the entire country. Just won the National dining pub of the year award to add to its 5 consecutive Michelin star awards.
If you want to talk about dodgy chineses then the one I had in Portugal on my hols is right up there. Absolutely rank.
There's always ways to make a buck on the side... Nope not in Hull. 1884 may have designs on one. Think there's only six in all of Yorkshire and I read that's the most in any region outside London.
I'm sure having a Michelin star means it will be more expensive than food of very similar quality Are there any decent quality inexpensive places in Hull ? Any good Italian restaurants in Hull ? I might stop going to football and start going to restaurants
You're not learning mate. Certain people are not to be messed with. They are watching and listening to everything. You know that Kate and Gerry were eating Chinese that night don't you? And Kate just happened to mention the prawn crackers were a bit soft. Me? I've enjoyed every Chinese meal I've ever eaten. Anywhere. Worldwide.
Golden Star is best Chinese in Hull (sorry Jimmy). As for eating out, I've been restricted to pub lunches recently and not been anyway special. May I recommend Minerva.
