Is Harry Clueless?

Really hate watching Harry press interviews..... just gives the impression that he is blagging it......and even worse, that he appears to not really be bothered at all.

Just my reading of his statements and body language

This is a very bad interview he gives here , ducking , diving and squirming around a very straight forward question , basic answer he should "yes I totally f--k-d up" . This weekend for me is time to act if we lose again , getting sick of the way things are going with Arry.

That would be the answer that most managers give. Redknapp never accepts the responsibility. It's always injuries, players performing badly on the day, a bad day at the office etc etc etc.

I agree it is a pointless thread. But have a listen to Harry's response to Wally Juniors question? He doesn't answer it. He differs and dodges it, and states that we didn't have the personnel to deal with them. Despite this being the players and squad that he has himself assembled. No excuses now.

I can understand why you'd like to take a dig at me. My arms are open, go ahead and fill your boots. Nothing you will ever say shall offend me. This is what a football forum is for.

But we all said on here, at least the majority of us did ... is go to old trafford and give it a go. We didn't and lost 4-0. Leicester went for it and came up trumps.

Now I know it's quiet tonight but I can only think you must be stirring it because you're bored. Or pissed. HR has been excused and forgiven and entirely exonerated by most on here for his part in our relegation. Even the blindest among us cannot entirely shovel all the **** away from his doorstep. "It was n't his team." "The damage had already been done before November." Even the blindest among us realise that we did n't play particularly well last season but then he had a job to do and the Board weren't going to allow him to spend to his heart's delight. So the apologists go on. We did what we had to. What more could we expect from last season.

This season he has no excuses. He's had the backing. he has done what he always does and DT got it spot on. He buys a new team each year. Last year's starting eleven have been jettisoned. Rob Green, Joey Barton and Charlie Austin are the only automatic starters. The beating heart of last year's team has been ripped out. Contrast that with Leicester. Ulloa apart, the team that got them up in style is the team that thrashed United on Sunday.

We're only 5 games in so far too early to say the die is cast. But if it don't work out, there is only one person responsible for this squad. The man who assembled it. There is also only one person responsible week in and week out for the team that is selected each week.

If as is constantly said, he has brought in the 'right sort' with the 'right attitude' any new manager would do better. Pulis would. Holloway would. Warnock would. Because they would inspire the players to scrap for every ball and then let them show off their silky skills.

I now realise that this deliberate misquotation is gratuitously offensive to bears, and I offer a full and unreserved apology to all of our ursine brothers.

I couldn't possibly comment. He may have a troubled past and may have got up to no good and had it covered up and whitewashed. He may alternatively be a saint and put right many of the much publicised problems of the Catholic priesthood. But I don't know enough about him to make a fair judgment. Knowing and sharing Stan's understandable dislike of the slippery one might have led me to pose the question "Is the Pope a catholic?" or "Was Jimmy Savile a *****phile?" Answer those questions and you have the answer to the question posed by Nines. Well you have mine anyway.

He certainly doesn't seem to learn. If we don't attack we can't win, only draw or lose. He needs to show some ambition and trust his players.

As a group I think our players are more than capable of staying up.

I can't, unfortunately, say the same about the squads Management or Coaching (at least from the outside and from what we see on the pitch).

Forgive me father for l have sinned.
I too have worshipped thy Holiness Pope Redknapp but after following thee and thy converted for the past couple of seasons, l feel as thou I have lost faith in thy Church of Harry.

Do not send thee to thy purgotary but forgive us thee sins of doubt that continue to fester with ArchBishop Redknapp.

Harry's starting to sound more and more like a politician than a football manager which is of great concern. Every other team that has new players have either performed straight from day one or have done so since.

We continue to struggle, why?

Time for some devine intervention to get us working.
Whether that is with Reverend Redknapp or another, hopefully time will tell soon.

He brought in players to play a system that the exisiting players and crowd dont like. if he changes to a 4-4-2 sto appease the players and crowd then he does not really have the players to do a "good enough" job.
If he keeps the 3 at the back system, them the crowd (this board included) hate him. Cant win can he really?

The main of the team are still here also. Ned, Green, Barton, Krank, hoilett, Austin, Traore, Yun, SWP(?), Zamora, etc were all part of our squad last year, so the myth that he has started again is rubbish. I grant you that they are not auto starters but lets be honest..most of last years team simply arent good enough for the prem. Simpson at LCFC hasnt had a look in yet.

Im not defending H at all & i accept that he made some bad calls, but as i said at the start of the season..Im giving him 12-15 games before i make a decision. Last year i said id judge at the end of the season, and look where we are. it would be very foolish to make any decision at this time considering the position of teams like Southampton, ManUre and others.

Still if you guys want him out, dont let me stop you posting. just dont agree personally, although i may well change my opinion at a later date

Terry, apart from giving me probably my only ever chance to see QPR winning something at Wembley (in my lifetime) and being one of the best days of my life....you are totally correct.

Personally expecting Hoddle to take over if Harry goes anyway, so i dont think much will change by sacking him

[your typo not mine] We were all agreed that the players bought in by Harold looked to be promising. Yet you readily accept that they have been disappointing to date. I well remember you saying you'd give him 12-15 games. I hope you also remember that I have said repeatedly this season that it's early days yet. I am not for calling the vet in for Harold just yet. But the op simply asked the question based on the last embarrassing interview whether he was clueless. The consensus seems to be that he was in that interview and, of course, some of us have thought that about him for some time now.
