Bugger. I shall be away then having a late holiday in Torquay. You must have known my holiday plans when you planned this. I am starting to get a complex now and am beginning to believe you really don't want me along.
Sounds good - and FLT - you can usually park up Empress Road and walk down - or go as far as Horseshoe Bridge (then you're getting into my dodgy neck of the woods) and park there. See some of you in the back garden - 12.30 on the 27th. <quietly> - Lucky St Godders is away on holiday, so we won't have to put up with him ..........
Thanks FLT, will try it tomorrow. The traffic can't be any worse than the bottom of the avenue before lodge road and then onto Thomas Lewis Way at roughly the same point. If it works, I will be one of the lowest posters attending the get together before QPR!
I come in off the M27 by the airport, then down to the second set of lights, hook a left and head down Thomas Lewis Way to get to Empress road.
That's what I do, instead then taking a right up Lodge Rd towards the Avenue so this will make a good change! On another note, i'm pretty certain we've met once before at Middlesborough!
Well I'll fool you all this time. I'll wear the jesters hat an you'll never find me as you look for the boy wearing it
Look out for someone myopically searching for a bloke and his 13 year old son. Depending on the weather - I'll be wearing a Saints polo shirt and probably a fleece. What's the password - "not606"?
I'm tempted to get shirt tagged with not606 *edit* actually my username would be quite cool on the back
Great idea. I'm debating whether to wear my 'lucky' shirt (wore it for the first time when we beat Coventry to go up - it was my first time back in the country for 3 years) as it has yet to see a loss at St Marys, but worried about tempting fate! What a dilemma, eh? So (addendum), I'll be the old bloke in the garden EITHER in a Saints Polo Shirt or one from the last Championship season! I'm sure we'll connect somehow - even if I have to holler "Not606" to the general audience in the garden!
