Where do you think he will be next season? I have read so many rumours, it seems everyone at L1 level and below are clamouring for him (plus one or two in the champ). I personally hope we keep him. He is still young and could yet improve enough to play for us at whatever level we find ourselves in the 2012-13 season. Maybe a loan deal? If so, I'd prefer it was to a Champ side to really challenge him.
I think with Cody, it all depends now on how much he improved while he was on loan. If Lambert thinks he made big strides, he may get a loan again (short term this time though). Obviously if he's come back largely the same player, he'll be plying his trade elsewhere. Personally I don't think he'll have enough to cut it at Carrow Road, but I'd love to be wrong.
Yeah, But that is not the reason why I have not been on here as much lately as I have had a lot of more hours at work, Will be on here a lot during the football season as work will not get in my way then>
Good to see you, anyway Hoadie. Wish I had a girlfriend. Mind you, the wife would only complain.......
I'm sorry guys, I'm not usually controversial or out of line, but this Cody thing has been ridiculous all season. It became a sort of joke with me and my mates, we'd listen to canary call in a game that had no relevance at all to Cody and wait untill one of those ridiculous callers came in with a "Ay Dun't think dat chrissy marrrtin is oop tu it neulll, WHAT ABATT DAT CODDY MAC DAAANALD!!?" He's become a sort of myth around the place, everyone thinks he's Lionel Messi and Laberts not played him out of ignorance or stubborness The fact is, Cody was brought in from non-league, we gave him a chance in league one and he found his level at around that point. Thats nothing to be ashamed of! If I could play half as good as the crappest league two player I'd be happy as anything, but we need to move on. Lets give Cody a chance at a club where he can stamp himself. At a good honest club, the likes I have and never will forget from our dark league one days. Send the lad to Carlisle or Walsall or Dagenham and Redbridge and let him become a hero, hanging on to him as his contract runs out is foolhardy and ridiculous. Cheers Cody, but we've got better.
Or the Gills! Absolutely no issue with him joining the Gills at all. The lad deserves to be a hero, not a guy that can't make the bench.
