In a nutshell, didn't go - glad I didn't. If this game had been in our prediction league, I'd have gone for a decent win with everyone pulling out all the stops to impress. From what I've read (and only that), it looks like there's an undercurrent of unhappy players at the club that needs sorting PDQ. New strong manager - it's been said a million times on here, but we need Pulis in right now.
I went. First half is the worst performance I've seen from a supposedly professional team. They were a shambles, Guerra looked a pub player. Adeyami looked like he's been training with Dika he was so far off the pace. ALF is barely half the player Mason is. Cala had the worst game I've ever seen a centre back have. Gabbs was horribly off the pace and sheer luck is all that kept him from being responsible for at least 2 or 3 more goals. Daehli and Macheda came on and made a difference. I'm not sure how Kim took the blame ahead of Alf and Maynard with the early substitution. We need to pray Marshall stays fit as Moore looked a very long way off the standard of keeper required at this level. Absolute shocker of a night which suggests things could get much worse before they get better.
Cheers Stevo - just watched the highlights (sic) vid, and it doesn't come much worse than that. Leaderless rubbish that's in urgent need of surgery. Ole has left this club a complete shambles.
Newborn baby so sticking to league games at the moment.. Had the live updates coming through though, am I the only one at, or nearly at the stage where its laughable? Where a loss is no such shock anymore? I'm genuinely gutted at the way our football club is going..
There were more laughing than shouting around me in the Ninian, I wasn't in my normal seats (which was nice to chat to some different fans about how **** we are).
We have had better 3rd and 4th division teams to what is on offer at the moment. This really is a sad state of affairs and OGS has to shoulder the blame for this mess
I went sat in the Ninian as the Canton was shut. Worst performance i've seen since Maidstone beat us 0-5 at ninian park one new years day many moons ago.
Confidence is at an all time low I'm afraid.. If Slade IS appointed our new manager he will have to bark some authority and confidence into the lads. No easy task for any manager at the moment and I genuinely feel sorry for whoever has to sort out the mess.
