With Rickie seriously struggling at Liverpool, would anyone take him back? Personally I would welcome him back with open arms and would love him to come home to finish his career. Still could do a job, even if its just cover for pelle. It looks like even borini has jumped in front of him now and when sturridge is back I cant see him playing there at all.

I wouldn't, going back rarely works out.

Would you take back a girlfriend who left you for her childhood sweetheart but it didn't work out?

    I love relationship simillies.

If Pelle was injured or suspended I'd rather give one of the new guys like Long a chance in the middle, or even a youngster like Gallagher.

No. He's a Saints legend and we should remember him as one. He and we have moved on.

He's a legend but if he thought he'd be first choice at Liverpool he's a idiot , he made his decision to leave us, and he has to live with it

I'm sure Rickie knew that he wouldn't be first choice at Liverpool...he was bought as a supersub. He may have expected a bit more time though...hard to have any impact in a few minutes. However, how much time would he have had for us. Remember though we are short in the striker department with both JRod and Gallagher injured...just Long and Pelle as true front men (though we have attacking midfielders). Be nice to have Rickie standing in the background if he hadn't left, but no point in bringing him back.

I'd still take Lovren back, but then I have a terrible record with women.

As much as I love Rickie who will always be a legend, I wouldn't take him back.
Saints have moved on to the next level as seen last night and he just wouldn't get the chance to finish his career in style

Not surprised if you think he's a woman <laugh>

P.s. if Lovren came back, he'd be 5th in our queue of CBs, so I wouldn't even for the fun of it.

Rodgers was crystal clear post match that SRL had been bought as back up and knew it.

As much as it pains me to say it, it looks as though Lambert's career is in a steady decline. His form was fading for us before he left and I would rather see him finish his career at Liverpool to complete the story. Besides, we have Graziano now!

The sporadic playing time won't help him at all. Sad, but predictable.

His presence could have increased the pressure on Pelle from the idiots who booed when he had hardly touched the ball. Was hurting at the time to lose Rickie, but better that he went to Liverpool than declined here.

Rickie made his decision and we've now started moving on. We don't need him back, we can keep going without. Lets leave the chapter closed.
