impressed guys .. looks a decent get stuck in player ... all effort .. impressed. don't be harsh on him I think hes a canny player after seeing him a few times ..
 
He's had a great start for us but he's still a young lad thrown in at the deep end of the PL. He will make the odd mistake but once he improves his positional sense a little he will no doubt prove himself as one of the finds of the season.

Totally agree with this.


Mates a Dundee Utd fan and raved about him. He was gutted to lose him.

He can only get better.
 
like that sort of player 20 year old good engine all heart ..yous give him a chance that's what its all about trust ..paying off hope he does well for yous best of luck
 
Even my dad likes him! Sure, he makes the odd mistake but all players do, he'll only get better and better, really one for the future and a sound investment for both on and off the pitch.

He needs to improve defensively or SB needs to play a different formation or with different personnel to get Rosenior behind him.
 
Fantastic potential, turns defence into attack in an instant.

Just needs specialist coaching on the defensive side of been a LB, which he will get.

Carries on like he is and we'll be reluctantly selling him in a few years for 10 or 20 million.
 
Comments about fullbacks amuse me; you can't praise one of 'em without someone chipping in about him "needing to improve his defence."

Mebbe they're all just **** defenders?
 
Well he attacks 100x times better than Figueroa and defending is par and only 21 yo.
 
Doing a cost comparison with Luke Shaw, Shaw cost £30 million whereas Robertson was £2.85 million; that means we could have had 10.5 Robertsons for the price of one Shaw. Mind you, we would have had a few too many left backs on the books!

Luke Shaw is a much better defender though..
 
Defenders are paid to defend foremost. If they are at good at defending and can push forward that is a bonus.

Robertson's attacking side appears better than his defending. Unfortunately in the Premiership you will get found out.
