Okay Southampton fans, so the general feeling is that points deductions when a club into administration is fair as they will have gained more points due to overspending than they otherwise should have (ignoring instances of when a club goes into admin after their owner runs off with the cash) BUT surely the same argument could be applied to FFP? Ergo clubs that breach FFP should receive points deductions as they will have potentially gained more points through over spending than they would have otherwise gained? Are we in agreement?

That makes sense, but do turkeys vote for Christmas? Bigger PL clubs don't mind the administration situation, but they'd never support that penalty for FPP which they might breach.

I just wanted to say how brilliant it is that this place has remained Koeman's Korner. :)

Thanks DTLW, we made a decision to experiment a bit to see if anyone had any problems with a thread going into several thousand posts. Apparently nobody has, with this one or the final version of the Summer Transfer Rumour thread. So this one will remain Koeman's Korner for the duration of Ron's tenure (crosses fingers and toes).

The name was my idea btw. <whistle>

Who/what is this we.
Are "we" the same people as "them".
Who put we/them in charge.
I think there should be a referendum.

Apparently Amir Khan will find it difficult to get a match arranged in the USA because he is a Muslim?!? Couldn't make it up.

He has struggled to get into America before because he is a Muslim with a history of frequent visits to Pakistan. I actually have some sympathy for the US there, bearing in mind that we have quite a few terrorist sympathisers and the decision was probably made by a computer, then revoked on appeal by a human being. However, when arranging a fight, he isn't a nameless person, but a known boxer.
