Things seem to go from bad to worse for Bulls fans. A while a go there was a petition set up to stop the livestock owner taking over the land on Edgar St thus rendering Hereford Utd homeless. Well today I received an e-mail from the campaigners which shows what an ass local councils can be. Obviously it seems on the face of it Hereford council has ££££'s to gain by allowing this transaction to be completed. The petition was submitted to the council two months ago and they have only just written to the campaigners saying the petition will not be considered in its current format. It would seem the council have scrutinised every name and comment on the forms to find some kind of leverage to give them the upper hand coming up with a statement which said about abusive comments and peoples names and addresses that could not be confirmed.
Hopefully the petition will be re-submitted minus the comments that those in power deem unacceptable. The campaigners have sent formal complaint regarding the length of time taken and the timing of this announcement by the council, I can only assume that the decision is imminent. Let's hope that Hereford Utd FC can secure their home and football in the town. Their fans have had enough to endure since last season.

My lasting impression was my poor old mate on Boxing Day needing to use the loo which was outside the ground. It was so cold that when he came out in his chino style trousers we could see how cold it must have been as he thought he had got the old chap out and peed down his trouser leg.....no hiding from that mistake. Had to sit through 90 mins of a warm urine smell emanating from him. To say he decided to stay sat down the whole time with his coat covering himself to save his blushes was an understatement. Happy times!

I feel really sorry for them and hope they find some way out of this mess. Having said that they
have the dingiest most decrepit ground I have ever been to. Their toilets are marginally better
    than cesspits!
