Words fail me if there is any truth in this http://www.itv.com/news/wales/update/2014-09-17/vincent-tan-to-lead-search-for-new-manager/
My friend is the chef for the team and he says Pardew is the likely candidate.. I hope there is no truth in that
I know what you're saying but Pardew is a much better manager than Ole, he'd improve us, but we can do better.
You have to admit that this truly is the best time ever to be a Jack though. You guys would be loving' it big time if it was the other way round wouldn't you ?
If you were dropping points like wildfire I would most certainly crack a smile Changing managers though, hmmm, always a dodgy one. I had a feeling as soon as Monk took over for you that he would do the business after being with the club for years. So not always the best time to be a rival fan when a manager is changed - Not that it should make a difference.
True, it really is lovely for you guys. Long season but Monk has started well. TBH though all I ever really care about is our club and the only time I ever really think about you lot is when/if we play you.
They effed it up last time, so Messrs Tan & Dahlman please do the sensible thing and seek advice from someone who know something about football. I have a distinct feeling we are all going to be wholly underwhelmed with the identity of the new manager.
Well,it will be a long time before you have to think about The Swans' again then. Unless,of course, one of the Cup's pit us against you.
Quite honestly, I'd be more concerned that he did his job rather than his identity. Tried and tested rather than someone learning his trade should be the obvious way forward, but even a newbie with the right ideas coming here doing the necessary would be a breath of fresh air after this past 8 months.
Jay - I just want someone to do the job - apart from remembering his attributes as a player with the Wurzels, I didn't even know Hartly was a manager so have no idea. Bob, you want to say anything on here these days other than making anti-Tan remarks? You've become a bit predictable pal.
Spark! Am I breaking the forum rules in any way by castigating our chairman? God knows, you did that often enough when Riddler was our chairman. Maybe you should ask yourself why you are the only mod to highlight my criticism all the time.
Didn't say you were breaking any rules Bob - it was just a polite question. What has me being a mod got to do with it? I'm really just another poster on here. Looks like your paranoia about Tan is developing into a persecution complex - Tan's the anti-Christ and I'm his disciple...........
Spark! You worship the guy and I don't. It's as simple as that. You seem to take all this **** too seriously these days Spark. That's what being a mod has to do with it.
Calm down Bob. Your assumption about my opinion of Tan is unjustified - no way do I "worship the guy" and I think that's an unnecessary thing to post. I would prefer Tan not to be involved at the club but he is. I can live with it at the moment and still talk about the club in particular and football in general on this forum without the need to look for opportunities to slag him off.
Spark! I simply make occasional humorous quips about our chairman. Nothing really for anyone to get upset about. This forum needs a bit of light humour to keep it alive sometimes. There's more to this site than everyone discussing team formations.
Bob - nobody seems to be upset apart from you. Humorous quips are not beyond most of us who chose to post on here, but the subject laughed about tends to vary a bit more than yours. However, I will be very careful to ensure my "mod status" doesn't affect my own sense of humour.
I hear you on that one, pal. If he comes in and does the job he will be a hero. I'm sceptical though.
