Here is an idea,
CTID is a song which has been sung for years, however at 19:04 it is now been seen as sung due to a protest over a name change. now. rightly or wrongly, there was booing at the KC on Monday night as we all know, for me, that was a big surprise of people now showing their support for the allams - not the name change possibly, but maybe fans are grateful for what the allams have done. Now, since CTWD are confident there is no appeal, and the FA's choice is final, instead of this infighting, and us against them, name calling and general abuse, why not no longer sing CTID at 19:04? because quite honestly i think the tables have turned with that booing.
Surely the booing is only showing the Allams that they do have support of fans? not sure CTWD want that, so how about NOT singing it at 19:04, letting the dust settle and all coming together to get behind the team with no divide? Everybody is so convinced the name change decision is final with no route for appeal, so why not put it so bed completely. get behind the team, be thankful for what he allams have done, then ride it out until he gets another no and see where we go from there if he sells - which personally I don't think he will.

I agree with this, we need to unite as a fan base not divide. If the 1904 protest continues i'm sure the booing will continue also now they know others feel the same. We are divided on the name change/Allam issue but all want whats best for our club. During games we need to be as one for the team we all care about. May I suggest at 1904 we sing the club song or even Caraven(bit cheesy for this i know) to show we all support the same thing, the most important thing, our club. It would be for the best if any protest is kept outside of the stadium or at least before or after kick off. We need to stop this infighting before it threatens to derail our season. Let the FA decide on the name change, they have already shown support for our current name so lets concentrate on backing the boys.
Good luck getting the superfans to not sing their protest song at 19:04. They'll sing when they want to.

Originally, I joined the Premier Club because my son went to school and they finished at 2.00pm on Saturdays(25 miles of winding roads between there and the KC) and my parking space in the first car park guaranteed I could make kick off(there were other benefits, such as guaranteed away tickets etc). He's just finished school, but I've got used to the convenience of it now, so I've stuck with it and people seem to have got used to me being the noisy one in there now, though I still get told off occasionally for swearing or threatening to twat over excited corporate away fans.
I used to go in corporate quite a bit, though not recently.
I'd say the ability to have a beer in a GLASS was something I greatly appreciated, personally.
And of course the ability to have a beer immediately after the match without having to leave the stadium.
Not to be sniffed at.
Beer is important.
Drinking out of a glass is a definite benefit, as is being nice and warm while you're drinking it in the middle of winter(not to mention the cask bitter - though it's a bit hit and miss at the moment). You also get your pie, peas and gravy on a proper plate, though you have to be fairly quick in there if you want to find somewhere to sit and eat it.
The trouble is, when you're dealing with crowds is getting the genie back in the bottle.
I have no doubt that some of those who booed on Monday will be thinking, yeah, it happened, I took part, but I'd rather not boo other City fans, I'm out. But for every one of them, there will be someone who now starts to boo, because it's got publicity.
Similarly on the other side of the campaign, I'm sure there are a few in the CTWD campaign who would like to change tactics when it comes to the match day. I support CTWD, but there are times where I've thought the "We say no Allam" could have been put on ice, once the FA decision had been made. To just let 19.04 be a focal point for the crowd to rally behind. Even Ehab said it improved the atmosphere. Sadly CTID and We say no Allam were sang together so many times, they just seemed to run together. I haven't sang "We say no Allam" since may, but it's still going on.
If crowd chants were so easy to control, we'd have had a much better atmosphere at the KC for years. Sadly they're not. They're hard to get going, and even harder to stop. It's not like there's a conductor.
Since Monday we now have the genie out of the bottle on both sides, and by all accounts people are getting their backs up. I think the only loser in all of this is going to be the club - and frankly now, the November decision can't come soon enough.
What do the following all have in common?

Did any of them change their names, with no good demonstrable reason, when 110 years old, after having their most successful ever year, with thousands of fans already established?
And even if they did, did we really need another ****ing thread on it? This would easily sit in the other 5-****ing-hundred threads on the matter.
