Should Scotland be an Independent Country?

  • Yes

  • No

I liked it last night when the BBC asked some jakey in Glasgow what way he was voting, and his reply was something like; "ah man, I dunno, I shouldn't really have a vote, I dunno what I'm doing" <laugh>

<laugh>.

I love when the cameras tour the pubs and streets of Glasgow looking for pubic opinion.

Wait! The Scottish press, who are mostly London owned and fervently pro-union, are publishing negative things about the Yes campaign? Well, f** me sideways! Thanks for bringing them to our attention Nev.

I'm sure the 12 people who read this thread (of which only about five of whom are eligible to vote) will be thinking long and hard tonight because some writer who most of us have never heard of thinks the Yes campaign's a bit mean. Maybe he can support Better Together - you know those nice chaps like Gordon Brown and John Reid (aye, the fenian the huns love to hate).

:)

Standard yes voter answer. When faced with a logical arguement resort to conspiracy about London press, scaremongering rather than actually address a legitimate concern..

Best one was the wee tarrier saying he "wiz kafflick, but I don't really go to chapel, so I'm not Roman, ye know" it was from years ago

<laugh>

And that c**t they interviewed after Robbie Keane signed.....

" Ahts jist won us the league.... so it huz " <laugh><applause>

Edinburgh Castle is a ****ing prick

With one day of campaigning left, the debate is now focused on millions of red-faced maniacs calling each other bastards.
Across the country ordinary people have poured onto the streets to scream filth at someone, as light aircraft fly overhead trailing banners that feature heavy use of the ‘c-word’.
On the BBC’s evening news programme in Scotland, the presenter referred to SNP leader Alex Salmond as a ‘spunk stain’, but maintained impartiality by comparing Gordon Brown’s latest speech to ‘an ice cream made of ****e’.
Julian Cook, a UN election observer, said: “The Yes campaign has now become a grassroots swearing movement, while the No campaigners turned over a desk and told me they are ‘having none of this pish’.”
A Yes campaign spokesman said: “We’ve asked our volunteers to go out today and call 50 people a bastard.”
A No campaign spokesman turned over a desk and added: “**** off.”
Cook said: “Luckily Scotland’s not completely obsessed with tribalism, so it should all calm down by Friday afternoon.”
