“I am very happy with Solskjaer. He’s much better than Malky Mackay. It was a very excellent win,” Tan is reported to have said in the immediate aftermath of the match.

What I wouldn't give to have the ol' racist, misogynist completely politically incorrect Scotsman back at the helm right now..

    *sigh*

Bobby - I doubt anybody on here has ever been that confused to believe that Tan knows anything about football. Clear evidence of getting the wrong guy in just makes him an easier target I suppose.

Jay - better change your signature - hardly a befitting one for someone who wants him back.

    *sigh*

It has since been proven MM made his own position untenable.

Ole was the wrong man, what we've proven as a one club experiment is that the Scandinavian leagues are so far off the top 2 English divisions it is a huge risk bringing in anyone from there. There's a reason everyone shops in Spain and France apparently.......................

I think you missed the meaning behind my comment <ok>

ol' racist, misogynist completely politically incorrect Scotsman

And I was merely stating that Malky is a different class compared to OGS <ok>

    Fair enough Jay. <ok>

I'd agree he's in a different class to OGS, but for his all his football managerial failings, OGS has class - Malky clearly hasn't.

That being said and given your graphic description of him, would you really want him back?

I realy thought OGS would have done a real good job of making us a footballing team that gets wins, how wrong was I.
Last night it looked schoolkids fighting over the ball in the playground at times.
I don't think we have the luxury of hoping he can turn this around but I am guessing that Tan will give him a game or two to do so, apparently he is in London talking to Tan now so maybe an annoucement later today?

I'd have Malky back tomorrow. He's obviously done nothing illegal.

If I were Tan I'd get on his hands & knees & beg Malky to return........despite his millions & hiring the best lawyers & investigators money can buy all he could find on Malky was a couple of dodgy texts.

As for him having 'no class'....what a sheltered life you lead.

Bob, eventually, someone, somewhere, will get it right, untill then you are not far off, it does look like a circus, one where the man keeps falling off the wire.

He found enough to get MM's claim for wrongful dismissal (and the millions that would have come with that claim) thrown out and get that unreserved apology from MM, so you're not really correct at all.

I know you're a huge MM supporter but I can't understand how after all of this anyone would want him back. Ole being the wrong man doesn't make MM right.

I'd rather a racist wasn't in charge of our club and it's his mate Moody not me who described him as that.

He had the largest budget out of the 3 promoted clubs for 2 seasons (the promotion year and our PL season) yet we failed miserably to compete and the vast majority of the players signed were substandard. He's an ok manager and much better from a football point of view than the inept Ole but there are much better managers available.

To suggest our best course of action would be to bring him back shows how strong a tint your rose coloured MM specs have.

    Stevo!
You failed to mention that he took us to the Premiership and kept us out of the relegation zone. Ole on the other hand never got us out of it and has proceeded to amass a huge tally of 20 league points out of a possible 75 on offer during his tenure.
Malky and his mate hung themselves out to dry but he was a far far better manager and leader than Ole.

Of course not mate. There was sarcasm in my comment that maybe didn't come across enough. The meaning behind my comment was anyone besides Ole at the helm. I'd have a homeless person with no knowledge of football at this stage.. I fear the worst for City and I'm genuinely concerned about the path we are taking.

If we continue down this road with OGS, we will be sniffing at league ones backside come May 2nd!

I said that. He might not have been in the relegation zone but we were on our way there. His results and performances were seriously on the slide. We'd been destroyed by Saints and Palace away wasn't pretty. We weren't competitive in matches and were well on our way to being found out as the 1 dimensional limited side we were.

I will concede (and have in the many previous occasions this has come up) we had a better chance playing MM's 'style' with his players than the attempted transition. Sadly that transition has masked how totally ****ing clueless Ole is.
If he is judged on his Pl performance as well as the start to this season then there is no way he should emerge from today as our manager.

MM had us on relegation form (last 8 games were piss poor) the season we were promoted to the Premiership! He would not have kept us safe, he knew it and orchestrated his won dismissal, any blind man can see that.
Get Pullis in asap. Not pretty but he will stablise the team and get us into a well oiled machine.

His teams have been more entertaining and technically better than anything you lot have served up in the last three years.
I hope he has more self respect than to take the Tan £.
