The way he's playing at the moment... Someone's bound to come in with a big offer. What will the club turn down in order to keep hold of him?
I'll say yes for January, he seems pretty focused and intent for now. Won't hold my breath for next season though.
I was always certain that he would stay for at least one season...because the club stood firm and he is central to Koeman's plans. We aren't on our uppers, so doing well in the league and cups is of far more importance than money. His value isn't going to go down by next summer, is it? This has been confirmed by Morgan's latest statements. I am also hopeful that he will stay longer (unless a promise was made this summer).
If we are still doing well and are in the cups then I think he'll stay until the end of the season then review..
I expect the club said your staying this season and IF we get an offer tat meets our valuation then you can go, but not this season
In my mind we have one more full season of the delightful Mr Schneiderlin; he's going to play a blinder then name his price to a big club. I'm fine with that - one heat of the moment tweet doesn't negate his contribution for me. He's welcome round my house anytime & can also marry my sister if he feels like it.
Certainly. You should hear the noise she makes when she eats a boiled egg. (copyright General Melchett )
I think he will stay for the whole season especially if we continue to do well and are chasing top 8 places and giving the cups a good go Also I think the club might be wise enough to have a chat about a new extended lucrative contract that might just keep him at SMS
I expect some tentative bids which will be politely rebuffed by Kreuger (the shredder is being brought from the basement and oiled as we speak). The board have raised the flag and saluted it...nothing will change until the summer (if then).
Haven't seen JRod recently on OS. A few weeks ago he was sometimes in the training shots...unless I've missed him, has he been shunted to training alone or with u21s?
Look at the change in Schneiderlin's reaction to a goal...after his first goal at West Ham, he wouldn't even smile when Davis tried to force his lips up with his hand, then compare that to his happiness after his goal against Newcastle. Hey, guys...you're right, this is fun.
