    I'm struggling for positives.........

Centre back pairing looked promising after a shaky start
    Brayford solid
    KWJ a nuisance

FFS biggest positive is the performance brings OGS one step nearer to the sack

To think I got mullered on this site earlier in season for calling OGS a muppet/puppet.

    There are none.

No creativity, no pace, no drive, no width, no movement.

Not one effort on target last night. Not one.

Boro should have won 3 or 4 nil.

I wish they had, as maybe, just maybe City would be looking for a new manager today.

Best thing to happen now is for him to be sacked, write off the Derby game, put out the strongest team available against Bournemouth ands kick off the league season anew v Sheff Wed.

    I don't think he's a puppet but he's definitely a muppet.

Manga was the only positive for me.

They're either not fit or not trying. Either is an absolute disgrace. Watching 5 or 6 Middlesbrough players charging past 3 or 4 of ours jogging every time they cleared a defensive set piece illustrated the different attitudes the 2 managers had installed into their sides.
I'll knock MM for all sorts of reasons but his hard working Championship winning side would destroy the rubbish we're putting out on the pitch at the moment.

We need another manager or we'll be bottom half. Tan wont accept that so the more games he's loses now and the quicker this situation is bought to its inevitable conclusion the better.

There was in fact one positive.

Guerra. He is a footballer. he did more in 20 minutes than Macheda and Le Fondre combined. He can hold the ball up, made runs, looked for the ball and does not lose possession.

He needs to start from now on.

Oh, and bring back Mason - if he can score 3 in one championship game, then he should be doing it for the club who pays his wages. Le Fondre won't score 3 goals all season.

I'd totally given up by the time Guerra was introduced but I agree he looks a class above Le fondre and Macheda.

Mason wouldn't have scored 3 last night if he'd been playing for us but again I agree he is probably better than players we have either bought or retained.

Whiffle - you were rightly mullered on here for your muppet/puppet comment at the time. Not sure when it was, but I think Pulis was still in a job when that thread was live.

Now, I must agree with you with the benefit of this last month's experiences under our belt.

Solskjaer is proving himself to be not up to the job at this level and action needs to be taken by the owner and chairman before this squad disintegrates any further.

What do those 2 know about football?

The club has nobody there who has an iota of knowledge about the game; they may know a lot about marketing & sponsorship but naff all about the actual game.

Tan actually said after OGS's first win, that mean that he was therefore a better manager than Mackay. Jeez!

Who the heck are his assistants? What do they know about English football and how to compete in the championship?

Who is tan going to replace him with? There was talk of some jobbing Turk manager before OGS go the job. I dread to know what clown will end up here if Laurel & Hardy make the decision. They need to consult with people who know the game, and get this mess sorted before the season implodes.

Just read the extract from the daily Star I your latest post. Hope it's right. Hope the new man is in place soon.

Never have I hoped the Daly Star is right...there's a first for everything.

I never thought I'd say this, but I hope Derby hammer us Saturday (assuming OGS is still here).

If that does happen then it will surely be the last we'll see of him.

Problem is, who next. Though tbh ANYONE will be a step up.

No....Pulis had just left & the reason for the muppet/puppet quip was that Pulis (or any decent manager) would not work for Tan.

The fact is, you don't need to know an awful lot about football to know how poor OGS's tactics are.

    I give up.

Guerra the only positive and why OGS has not used him before is an absolute mystery.

I am not one for breakneck decisions however i think that Ole has to fall on his sword now. Last nights performance just rubber stamped that he has no clue on how to play against teams in this division. the man is tactically inept and does not understand the worth of an established 11 turning out. We must act now otherwise we are going to be fighting to stay in this league.

If we all can see it, and all around us in the stands can see it how can the manager not see it?

I bet all of you were saying pre kick off that Adoma will have a field day versus Connolly. it took 2 minutes to be proven right; it's not fair to criticise Connolly as he is not a left back. Gabbidon would have been a better bet.

Mind you, what a shocking free kick from 'Whittingham the untouchable' which led to the break away. All his free kicks and corners were atrocious.

As for Guerra, I can only reiterate what I said above. He must start on Saturday.

You could argue that, after they'd scored we held them for 95 minutes.
