morning Lads, Sorry been a bit busy Well that was a debacle wasnt it. Green cant catch a cross for s**t and has now returned himself to his "default" setting of clown. Hes faced 15 shots this season and let in 9 FFS We were never goin to win that but i'd like to have sen us at least have a go. Throw in 2 open mises and UTD were always gonna win. Few positives were at leat Harry has seen that Hill isnt up to the Job in the Prem. So just ply the f-ing players who can play there. Vargas looks ok & Traore is starting to get going again.!! Ned to beat Stoke and thier scummy manager on Sat and we'll be ok. Going to be intresting to se how you guys get on against an improving team with players trying to prove a point. Cant say i was overly impressed with them but they can only beat whats put in front of them eh. Good luck lads- should be a good test for you. PS- Very brave starting his thread considering who you play next.....setting yourself up a bit
Taken in good humour Queens, nice one While we may well lose to United, I guarantee it won't be by 4, and I'm sure we'll give a much better go at it than you
I think it goes deeper than the score line Tooting mate. More the manner of your defeats. Don't look like a "team" to me. Toothless up front. Unimpressive defensively. BUT very early days granted
... possibly not ... but Liverpool brought Spurs back down to earth with something of a bang ... for me, a defence containing any two of Rio, Clint Hill and Richard Dunne is one that is going to be vulnerable to any side that attacks with pace ... I think you may still be in denial ... I remember us signing Martin Keown after he finished at Arsenal ... was a shadow of himself in his pomp and made to look very pedestrian ... I suspected it would be the same for Rio ... his best attribute as a defender was his speed ... that is now gone .., sad but that's life ... he has cost you this season there is no doubt ...
We've done OK in the 2 home games, looked decent : http://bwinbetting.com/leagues/premier-league/stats-say-qpr-creative-liverpool-man-city,60855.html Hopefully the away form will pick up against some sides that aren't top 6.
The easy one that you lost just last Easter eh Queenie. To be fair, losing away at those teams isn't detrimental in terms of points total as promoted teams don't target them and they're a bonus. However you want to lose fighting like we did at Chelsea, I didn't see your matches against Spurs or Man U so won't make any sweeping judgements but being quite heavy they must effect confidence
I saw their games John and they were terrible. Made our first half performance at Stoke look amazing in comparison haha. I'd be worried if I was a Fan of the Dramas..... Thankfully I am not phew
yeah, hands up we were **** against a team that was top 6 last season and another multi million pound team that could have a fella called Falcoa in the bench. he's not bad.! hope you get to them earliy enough as forget the idiot commentators that will kill you with thier adoration and deep throating of Man Ure.....it really was disgusting. i hate Manure with a passion...even more than chelsea and i hate every thing they stand for. given our history, I'd suggest you will have 99.99% or QPR behind you. To your credit, you have a decent keeper..and that should help!! !
I think Man U are the most hated club outside of their supporters (for the reason that they have the most plastic fans). We may laugh at each other and have banter about our teams but at least Leicester and QPR both have genuine, loyal support so respect in that sense. It'll be a different game as we are at home for a start. Although we have quality our biggest strength against the top sides so far has been fighting spirit like Nige himself so I think we'll fight Man U all the way
All depends on the era m'duck ... back in the 70's there was a Leeds coach that used to leave Humberstone Gate on a Saturday packed with 'loyal supporters' ... helped their 'loyalty' that Revie's side were dominating the domestic game at the time of course ... in the 80s it was Liverpool ... Man United were always well supported, even when they were not winning anything tbf (they do have the romantic edge stemming from the Munich disaster) ... but plastics will always follow the 'top' team(s) because what they are really suporting is the 'winning' rather than the club itself and no matter how they try ... deep down they are acutely aware ...
Fair enough fosse, I'm only 21 and all my era jumped on the Man U bandwagon so I really dislike them but I forget previous eras were Leeds, Liverpool etc
... got your tenses wrong again Grif ... that's like saying Rio Ferdinand is currently a footballer ...
Yun Suk-Young should be fully fit now , but who knows for sure. He would probably be most fans first choice (or Traore).
This is not a wum but a genuine question - but in my mind Hill is absolutely dreadful and unbelievably slow... am i mistaken and is he actually quite solid or is it due to lack of options?
QPR are distinctively poor in some postions. Part of the reason why they didn't want to see Danny Simpson leave
