Maybe a few of the Newcastle lads off here can come and offer me their sincerest apologies for my 'ludicrous/ridiculous/outrageous' statement that I think they'll finish 20th under Pardew, and that was before they made any signings.

They look toothless, if it was that lot against us at Old Trafford yesterday you'd have seen double figures put past Krul.

I didn't see your original statement terry, but if I had I would have disagreed with it - and I would have been wrong. I had us down to finish just above halfway with that squad. If Pardew stays there's a very good chance we'll get 20th. Over his spell it hasn't all been his fault, but he lost something inside when we sold Cabaye and he's been terrible ever since. Not saying he was a world beater before that, but we'd had worse. But now, he needs to go.

Exactly mate, Cabaye was that good. He didn't get the plaudits he deserved in this league, but I seen it in him. He was winning games for Newcastle, he was masking all of Pardew's pathetic-ness, I can see you finishing comfortably outside of the bottom 3 if he is replaced, even if he's replaced by a disabled goat.

More to the point, would Moyes want to work under Ashley, in another goldfish bowl after man u? If I was Moyes I'd hold out for a safer bet.

Their current needs are suited, not sure Moyes needs money after his pay-off from us but he could probably get a less-stressful offer if he waits.

Their next appointment will be underwhelming, of that I have no doubt.

Steve McClaren would suit Ashley down to the ground.
A yes man, does what he's telt, a numpty & ****e at his job.
He's the perfect fit.

I'd agree with most of it apart from that bit in bold, he's a fantastic coach and that's exactly what Newcastle need, rather than a gobshite who knows nothing other than how to headbutt players and push linesmen.

To think Pardew was muttering about pushing for the Champions League a few short weeks ago as well, FFS!

Good coach but ****e manager.

Can't see Notes fitting in, first thing he did at Manchester was ban chips!!

Eh?

TT ~ leave Pardew alone! you know we all love him and will defend him to the hilt! You're probably right, we do need a Moyes or even a McClaren to steady the ship. Any bugger apart from Pardew. The quicker he goes and takes Ashley with him, the better. Strange, a Man Utd. fan talking sense.

****ing pigeon. <ok>

Ey that's ****ing 'Pichon' to you, Mr Gringo!

Anybody who can tell your defenders that they have to stop people who are running towards them with the ball, and the rest of the players that when you don't have the ball to try and get it back, would be an improvement.

Something tells me a drubbing off Hull should see to his tenure coming to an end, which means you're gonna get a 0-0 draw and he'll get another 6 games off the back of that point!

I'd rip your hand off if McLaren was on offer atm. He'd be a massive improvement. Very much doubt we'd get him though. The only reason I have not wanted Pardew sacked (until now) was cos of being **** scared of what ****e would replace him. Any of our fans who hate Pardew for toeing the Ashley line are in for a nasty surprise when they find out that ANY manager we get will toe Ashley's line - if they didn't they wouldn't be manager!

Ashley has shown enough ambition for me this summer, there were far cheaper alternatives out there than the likes of Cabella, and he went after a top RB to replace Debuchy. That signals his intent for me, he wants top half, he was happy with last season, he's not going to invest to get into the top 4 but top half he's fine with.

Pardew blames you fans for every defeat nowadays, I've never seen somebody excuse themselves of the blame so often when it's their fault than him, he's a miserable tactician who has been outsmarted by every manager he's met on the touchline more or less in 2014.
