he should drop the fight for the name, as its doing him or the Club no good

its getting to a point where selling the Club is the only way forward, but today was a massive crash and his words have sadly made things 10 x worse ...

I want him to sell now, its nothing to do with the name, its for the good of the Club we all love

But after the way he came across today, he is not a footballing man, and needs to put his feet up

i feel its gone to far, and he has to sell, and he and the Club can hopefully move on, i think its best all for parties

he is not cut out to be a Football Club owner, I still respect him though

"Tomorrow will go down in Hull City History, its going to be a moment to tell the grandchildren, and at the end, everyone will love and respect the Allam Family"

"negotiations for several weeks have finally been concluded it seems, its looks like this is the final hours of the Allam ownership

Tomorrow marks the begining of a new dawn, and awake this sleeping giant, Hull City is going to be big news for generations...Tomorrow we arrive on the big stage

Tonight..enjoy the Hull City you have known all your life, for tomorrow it will never be the same"

I can see no good come of todays meeting.

I joined this forum to see informed and humorous debate. If you want to **** over Assem Allam I expect there's some pictures on the HDM website.

There will be 25000 there Monday night. Seems most of them are happy with how the club has developed under Allam.

Are you happy with everything the government does/proposes?

Do you keep paying them taxes?

One word yes or no, honest answers.

Are they giving them away then? If not N5 is almost completely empty. £35 a ticket? Ludicrous prices.

    Yes to Hull Tigers.

    Yes to poor literacy skills.

Yes to opening multiple accounts on the same Hull City forum to demonstrate said poor literacy skills.

Yes to accepting thinly veiled emotional blackmail.

    Yes to simplicity.

    Yes to gullibility.

Yes to hyperbole over fact and rationale.

Yes to everything has a price.

Yes to being of the same moral/intellectual calibre as the low brow cretins who contribute to Radio Humberside/HDM.

Yes to believing a man’s worth is akin to his monetary value.

    Yes to the silent majority.

    Yes to Hull Tigers.

It's clearly gone past the name change.

Whether you support Allam or not you it's for the good of the club very least leaves his role as chairman.

    First they ignore you,
    Then they laugh at you,
    Then they fight you,
Then Ben comes on and makes you look a right mug.

AA may decide Melton Tigers would be better.
When having a go at AA think back to David Lloyd, which type of chairman would you
    rather have ?
As for AA is not a football man no he is a business man, the football side is for SB and co to run.
What about the ground Should not Hull City play at Boothferry Park not the KC, anyone want to start
a group to change the name back to BP.
Times change nothing is forever, this chairman as done more than anyother to improve the whole club
set up and people are still not happy with him.
For years the utt as been used so what is the big deal with keeping the city bit.
Just to add I would like the city to be renamed Kingston upon Humber, people might know where we are then,
what would that do to the names of the football and rugby teams?

I have noticed a lot of posts recently, have started with, I appreciate the good things Mr Allam has done for the club etc , etc , or words to that effect. A sentiment that I and almost all Hull City fans must surely agree with.
Then they may go one of two ways. Either saying, great bloke he'll take us onwards and upwards, or, Drop the name change, give their justification, then maybe call him a be**end or any number of insults.

Well, I'm at work on a Saturday night' bored sh**less. It's my meal break, so I thought I'd put my two penn'th in. this thread looks as good as any to post it on. So,

Dear Mr Allam, I understand you are an intelligent man, so could you rearrange these words to make a sentence.
cutting you nose are your to face spite off your????

I also understand you do not like Hull City Council, or the people who lead them. Furthermore you have had a spat with the council and are at loggerheads with them., so much so you want to change the name of our local football team, Hull city (which you own) to Hull Tigers, This will surely set the club apart from the council. It should also cut down on the number of people mistakenly ringing the club asking for property repairs an bin collection dates. I do see how frustrating this must be, but a word to the wise.
I don't know if you have heard of an author by the name of Hans Christian Andersen?
    No! Thought not.

Well he told a tale of a very rich and powerful man, an emperor no less. Guess what, this silly man was very vain.( maybe not too dissimilar to yourself)
Now to cut a long story short, he wanted everyone to adore him and see how wonderful he was, so he employed two swindlers to make him a new outfit, the finest in the land. F**k me this is a long story, I think the majority know the ending. So the parallel I am trying to make is, your Hull tigers outfit is to you what the invisible clothes where to the emperor!
In layman's terms everyone, except the people who don't want to appear thick are, laughing at you.

    Stop this foolishness
Stop attacking/pi**ing off your customers just because you don't like the council (oh I could go on!)
    Be**end etc etc

    Rant over, and breathe

If the pro name change camp want to prove their case, all they need to do is raise some noise at matches. They don't even need a new chant - "we say "yes" Allam" will do nicely.

Personally, I think they would struggle to raise more than a squeak, but if the majority join in, I will admit defeat and AA can change the name with no further opposition from me.

Come on, you pro camp - prove me wrong on Monday.

Even easier, they could drown it out by booing.

True, but I'm not really in favour of booing at matches - the team might not understand.
