I'm using McAfee and it cleared the site ok for me ?

I needed a new one anyway...... Is that 100% without loss with your snazzy threads...??. Dave should give you a nip of his Scotch for your efforts to the site ...

Neyul just said that he gave 'em a "bit of a rocket" at half time, good lad !

Yep, heard him say that too. Early days, but the signs are SOOO promising now that we're starting to play attacking football. CR should be rocking next Sat!!!!!! <ok>

And I'll have to go all season without washing my 'home shirt'. Guess no one will want to sit near me after Xmas!!!! <whistle>

Like I said, I'd come back and post something on this thread when I got back in. The first half hour was some of the best football we've played this season - mind you, that's not saying much.

Couldn't make my mind up if we were that good or you were just not up for it. 2-0 in the at first 30 minutes and cruising - then something happened and for the life of me I can't tell you what caused it. You were finding your men with every pass and we couldn't keep the ball for love nor money.

Second half you blitzed us. The only difference between what I witnessed today from the same fixture last season was that your goal efforts actually went in. We were bloody hopeless and the three substitutions Ole made did nothing to help. Declan on for Fabio at half time may have been forced, but Adeyemi and Maynard were the wrong choices by a mile.

We needed to unlock your contriol and make you to think about defending rather than just pulverising us. There two guys on our bench tailor made - young Mats Daehli and Adam Le Fondre. I am despairing of Ole ever sorting this.

In the meantime, you thoroughly deseved to win that and we deserved nothing from the game especially after going in 2-0 up at half time. On that showing, you'll definitely be there come May - we have so much to do.

My Great Neice made me a loop band bracelet in yellow and green after the Wolves match and said it would bring luck for the canaries. I almost took it off at half-time. <doh> It's on for every match in home kit now and just in case, she's also made me one for the away strip. We're set for the season then! :1980_boogie_down:

Fair play for coming on here this evening mate you must be really gutted throwing away that two goal lead. When your second went in I genuinely thought there was no way back, have to say we were bloody awesome second half and our manager must take a lot of credit for the turnaround <ok>

thumbs up for posting this after, what must be a bit of a hammer blow. i am begining to get a good feeling about this season an adams. if we can keep getting these kinds of away results, our form at fortress carrow road should see us up there at the end of the season.if its any consolation,i think you will be up there too

Neils Adams and I quote; "I told the players from the off I will take defeats and draws but only if we go about it in the right way."

If Neyul says "jump" the players must say " how high?" ;)

I posted this today, not sure if anybody took the time to read it so here goes again:

29 Aug 1962 Cardiff City v Norwich City 2-4 League Division Two

I remember this game well, we had been relegated from the old first division, and we had a Kenyan international (one cap) left winger, Bristolian Peter Hooper who had a thunderbolt shot that rivalled the legendary Ipswich striker Ted "Cannonball " Phillips. He was knocking in goals regularly for City, most of which were unstoppable rockets from 30 yards plus. The crowd were chanting "Hooper, Hooper" as they did then, and he obliged with two in the first half, giving us a two nil interval lead.
We had a young and inexperienced goalkeeper Dilwyn John making a return to the side, replacing veteran Welsh international Graham Vernacombe, that night, and I recall him making a number of howlers, as Norwich clawed his way back into the game, scoring four second half goals. As a young kid, it was the first time that I had endured a "Cardiff City Experience", one that was to become a normality over the coming decades!

I was watching the game and it was unfolding in the same way as all those years ago, how sinister is that?
You started to show 15 minutes before the break, and we did nothing to stop your flow, lucky to get to half time 2 goals ahead. We should have scored a third just after the break, Ruddy made a desperate foot save.
From then on you outplayed us with slick football, and your fans were noisy in their celebrations. Well done folks! :emoticon-0103-cool:

I know an awful lot has changed since last season - management, tactics, coaching staff, scouting staff, etc, but last year we would never have clawed a foothold back into that match.

The words 'limitation' and 'damage' prevailed then around the fine county of Norfolk.
But the belief, positivity and determination shown today by Adams, the squad and the fans means we need fear nobody in this division.

From a spell in the footballing doldrums in April/May to the edge of the fast lane in September...and all that without Howson, Hooper or Vadis-o-o.
Keep ut gorn, Neyul <ok>

Couldn't have put it better myself Cromer.

Who would have thought we'd be 'joint' top of the league after only 6 games played?? <cheers>
