I think what CBK is trying to say is that it isn't a simple case of balancing prices received and prices paid. Wage bills and related costs are high and aren't covered just by ticket sales. I gather we have a large recruitment department just as one example.
I'm quite pleasantly surprised by the reaction to this to be honest, I told the guy I didn't believe him and that KL wouldn't be looking to sell, but when this guy tells you something, you can 100% vouch for it, and he assured me I was wrong. The points about the away games are good ones tho - I mean, Liverpool away? - it must be that she's changed her mind since this colleague of mine was approached. Tbh I thought I'd get told where to stick it when I initially posted, wasn't going to bother but now glad I did. Nice one
Just odd what people seem to be told. That guy on Echo who was convinced Jesus Perez had told him Saints would be asset stripped and sold in two years. Why would the board tell them that even if true??? Now, your acquaintance who is told even before accepting a position about the very secret desire to sell the club - even though the club has always insisted it isn't for sale. Why would you tell that to someone with no reason to keep it schtum? Baffling. I have applied to a few jobs in my time but for some reason not one interview process involved being given company secrets. I accept directors are a little different, but not that much. I am sure she will sell the club one day, but a lot of the information we are reliably given by "insiders" is just illogical bullshit.
Thanks for that. Now we need one from the front. Tbf, there is a women with long hair being 99% obscured by a man, just to right of upper centre of the pic. Could be Kat.
The man doing the obscuring looks like Ralph and rather than the woman he is obscuring with the long hair I thought the woman to her right (as you look at the picture) with her hair tied up looks more like Kat
Yep, could be. She's been photographed with hair both tied up in a bun or loose, so it could be either. The bloke does indeed resemble Ralph, it's true. As I say, one from the front, taken at the right time, would knock all the doubt on the head. I certainly do remember the commentator saying that the Southampton section of the directors box had all jumped out of their seats though. Would have been fun to spot them.
I'm sure a fan (possibly on Saintsweb) mentioned KL leaping up...though how close he was I don't know.
Yeah but did she then turn to the Liverpool fans, give them the "c'mon signal" and shout "have some of that you bin dippers" ? Because if so, cool !
No. She hollered 'Who are ya, Who are ya, Who are ya.............Easy........Easy..........Easy............Sing when ya winning, ya only sing when ya winning........****
