That's not a million miles off what I'd go with.
I'd agree with that - in fact the extra man in midfield is the only way I'd have Whitts in to start. Dikgacoi and Adeyemi policing it with the strong arm/box to box stuff would allow Whitts to stay further forward where he's most effective.
My only worry would be who would do the running for the killer passes from Whitts and Daehli? Kenwyne is no channel runner, and there's no natural goal poacher in there to feed off him.
This is going to be a big call getting it right.
He made a pretty decent run v Fulham for Daehli. The main goals will/have come from KWJ your looking at the likes of Witts and Noone to provide the loins share after him then.
).

I think its the formation thats' important rather than personnel...we've got a good enough squad to 'tinker', while playing the same formation....Gunner in for either Digkatchoi/Adeyemi, Pilkington for Noone/Daehli, Kim for any of the forward midfielders. Not forgetting Ralls & Burgstaller as well. Back four should remain constant though (whoever chosen should be given a run of games together). Any of the strikers for KWJ. Main thing for me though is five across midfield.
This the way I see it at the moment. Without truly energetic and aggressive midfielders who cover every blade of grass between the boxes, a 4-4-2 formation is a risk - even at home. We are losing the plot in the centre of the park and Ole has got to accept that.
As we go through the season and hopefully Dikgacoi and Adeyemi gain fitness and experience respectively, a 4-4-2 with two out and out strikers could be the answer. What I don't want to see is Ole picking two strikers just because he's got them, and then expecting one of them to play a more defensive game - that is just nuts.
