Bit random but it's some chat.... I was wondering who is going to make the big treck up north to see this ? Its a very good one for me because im moving to South Tyneside for 3 years for college and im going to try and get a ticket Also its my birthday so like any other Saints fan, i'd wish for a win
Aha I would go, but it's my birthday as well! Probably will be stuck in Uni anyway, but will hope for a win anyway,
I'll be there with my 5 year old son, it will be his first saints game. It is basically an home game for me as its only 30 mins drive from where i live
Be careful he doesn't become a Boro fan. Took my son to see Saints vs. Man U (because he was a ManU fan), the rest is history. In my case, it went the right way.
not the best place to go - went the year we got smashed 3-1 under sturrock and it was a LONG journey home! plus they didnt half fill it in the prem let alone the NPC so not the best atmosphere
hi fran - he already has the sash strip, with the 7 and his name on. love taking him to football practice as you can hear him saying he is Ricky Lambert, bless him. Still got a few years control on him yet.
I'll be making a long weekend of it and staying with family in South Shields. Have been to Middlesbrough several times and it is the most depressing place on God's earth. Yes, even worse than that c**p-hole down the road!!
I must be a bit weird then. I love going to Boro, mind you spent time up there in the 90s for work which helps. Best to stay in Yarm though lol! Lovely Market town with lovely girls who can't get enough southern class in them
I think newcastle vs sunderland is happening the same weekend. If so i will travel up with my geordie friend whilst he goes to that and i go over to watch the mighty Saints on my own!
