I have seen quite a bit more of him than three games, keep an eye on him if/when he plays, you might just change your opinion <ok>

He's looked nervous, but then can't blame him for that really.

Think back to back to most defenders making their debuts at that age and most of them look very average. 3 games isn't enough to judge someone though.

Only if you admit Jones and Smalling are terrible.

    And you can't spell Rafael.

Jones is good at CB, Smalling is two years off being good enough.
I spell Raphael pretty good (just not where Da Silva is concerned <whistle>).

Agreed, but at 24 he is not yet the finished artical, not sure he ever will be. He shows ability but lacks co-ordination and can`t read the game very well, i hope one day it will click and he will become the player he could be.

Di Maria didn`t play in the final, obviously it would haver been a different outcome if he had <whistle>

  12. Maybe him being dropped had something to do with him giving the ball away 57 times in the previous match <whistle>

He was injured with a calf strain but Madrid had sent a letter forbidding him to play anyway, they wanted him fit to sell <ok>

So Woodward is going to blame Moyes for losing yoonited £50m during the last financial year.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...isastrous-reign-cost-the-club-50-million.html

How the **** can you lose money you never had or earned?

He actually earned the club more than the 11 clubs that finished below them in the league and earned them the 4th biggest payout in the League Cup after reaching the semifinal, every club that never qualified for this season's CL could use the same excuse as them, why not go the whole hog and blame him for not actually winning the thing.

Moyes the scapegoat*. Very harsh on him!

I'm pretty sure LVG has cost the club more, in his even briefer tenure, and they are further down the table -- after some very average results against not very good teams (no offence intended to those teams).

They won't stay there, like, but those in glass houses . . . <whistle>

*Saint just beat me to it! <doh>

Everton have cancelled a supporters' day trip package to Russian outfit Kuban Krasnodar because of a lack of interest in October's Europa League tie. (Daily Mail)
