Just a daft random question..

Smug has 10 threads on the main page, probably 9 after this one....yet every one of them has 1 star after them..

I know the stars mean nowt, another daft gimmick for the site, but i'm not buying into the theory that only the mags go around doing this stuff..


Imo, he's posted some cracking stuff the last few days, (this from the person who had a wee fall out with him, a while back), so just who is so petty and making the board look like a poor effort of xmas?


Everyone pisses someone of, sometime (i know only to well) but ha'way man....this is ****ing pathetic..

At least get some decent tags, or open bickering going on, not just a weak star rating......

Who ever it is, get some balls....

Who has Smug not upset would be a shorter list mate, and I'm sure that's just the way he likes it.

I doubt Smug gives a flying ****e about being one starred, in the same way most of the regular posters wouldn't.

Of course, I could be wrong and he could be curled up in a ball in his basement crying real tears.
 
He' probably p*ssed a lot of posters off at some point but he says it as it is and more often than not is right n speaks sense.

Aye been a bit placid recently like.

I forgot I was working today and stayed out until 4, then had a dirty chicken shawarma en route home.

Suffering is not the word. How relevant this is to your thread I don't know, but hey ho.

That was the day before mate, but ****ing hell they put on a great show Thursday night, seriously did the region proud.

Last night was one of those, my pal was round helping me paint the living room, few casual Kopperburgs, ran out of that so couple Jim Beams, then next thing it's 4am and you can't recall the last 6 hours.

I'm a bit old for that ****, but it still seems to happen with alarming regularity.

**** it, gonna die anyway. Ha.

I've actually rolled into graft in last nights togs, and just hoyed my pass round my neck. Aye, leading by example me...

Excellent mate..Unplanned one's usually the best.

Can't beat a totally random ****e thread, where anything and everything is up for discussion..

I'm on the Leo beers now, trying to forget my aches and pains...moving office and storage, all the staff are working elsewhere...so shifting scaffolding etc ain't no ****ing fun...

Can't say it sounds like a barrel of tits like.

Might go, alone, to the all you can eat buffet in the Gate and gorge on pork & duck, I'll be sound after that.

Seems we got involved in seeing who could hold a lighter under their elbow the longest frisk, seems a good idea at the time but quite frankly it's torture now.

What a set of ****ers man. Haha.

Honestly, enjoy those nights while you can get away with it pal. The old life/work/drink balance changes soon enough with age. I miss the daft spontaneous nights out. I'm down to about 3 a year, which is just as well given the recovery time is measured in days not hours.

Star ratings? Never noticed them or care.

As for Smug, I ain't got no beef with the auld piss-ripping git. His posts have been very good this week.

The old fire trick...aye seems good at the time, same as arm wrestling....but it ain't....



BTW, the duck sounds lovely, one of my favourite meats, after lamb.

Getting less often mate, mainly due to the slow reactions of an ageing liver....

Aye duck is always a solid bet, I'm thinking that wrapped in pancake will give me the burts to get me through to 4, then I'll take a flyer.
