Had a few spare mins so here’s a racing quiz. Can you get them all right, pilgrims?!?

1. Prince of Pirates has now left the stable of Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer. He remains in the ownership of J.P. McManus but who is his new trainer???

2. In 2012 Mr Henderson had what he ‘believed’ was his first ever runner at Cartmel. However, he didn’t attend the said fixture saying instead, ‘I won’t go but X will represent me’. Who in this instance was X??? Clue – he’s a very popular figure on the forum.

3. Name the horse with the highest official Flat rating in Mr Henderson’s yard.

4. Since December 2004, when he first ran in the UK, who is the only jockey to have a 0% win success rate aboard Kauto Star???

5. Which Agatha Christie novel is part set at the Doncaster St Leger meeting???

6. In the episode of 'Fawlty Towers' where one of the guests is a bookmaker this chap tips a horse to old boy Basil. Which racecourse does this horse run at???

7. Name the last Group 1 race won by old boy Johnny Murtagh as a jockey.

8. Which former Conservative Party leader and Home Secretary had a share in a recent St Leger runner???

9. Name the horse. I am trained in Wiltshire. I’ve never won a Grade 1 race but have been placed 2nd or 3rd in 6 Grade 1 races. I am considered by some to be a lively outsider for the 2015 Cheltenham Gold Cup.

10. Name the horse. I am trained in Wiltshire. In term 2013/14 I won 3 races over hurdles. A handicap, a seller and a claimer. My name is the nickname of a man who has won over 100 caps for England.

I’ll put the answers up tomorrow morn.
