Loads of people fishing the Mersey now. It's almost drinking water standard
Good luck with that. It starts in mancland so you'd never be able to trust it.

As a kid I used to go down to Otterspool prom and we'd play spot the turd. 1 point for a log, 5 points for a johnny.
My memories as a kid at the Pier Head was that the river was like one massive turd. I'm sure the ferries had wheels.

Glad to hear it. What's he excited about? Going back to school? <yikes>

My eldest two went back today and they were both excited. Its the younger one of the twos first day at full time school though so he doesn't really know what he's letting himself in for <laugh>

Poor lads. I hated school.
I think in all my time there I only enjoyed the last year in the juniors because we had a decent teacher who treated us like people.
All those "back to school" adverts weeks beforehand still set my teeth on edge.

15 years? 'kin hell, you've had your moneys worth there <laugh>

I always buy Bosch appliances, got this one at the minute, very quiet, nice machine and great value for money

I've got a woman, but she's inept. She's on about getting a Beko machine, but I've heard they're ****.

Thanks for the input. I've seen a Hotpoint for £229 in Argos. That's the make of the one that's just died.

I wanted a Bosch when I replaced mine earlier this year but far too expensive for me. I looked at the Beko's but there were a lot of bad reviews. I opted for the Hotpoint in the end.

It didn't help that I was looking for a 9kg drum too though. I'd have gone for a even bigger one but it wouldn't have fit in the space then #kids #lotsofwashing

I never really liked school but like most, I'd love to go back now <laugh>

The youngest is a little attention whore so it doesn't bode well that he's going to mummy all to his self today <grr>

You'd be enjoying it now if you were at Merchant Taylors and you had a history lesson today <laugh>

Do all my washing in a bowl the sink. Saves water and much quicker.

Shouldnt be posting now as working but the washing machine conversation was far to interesting to miss out on
