BBC Transfer News ‏@BBCTransferNews 6m Hatem Ben Arfa joins Hull City on season long loan from Newcastle Utd #NCFC Expand I fear the #NCFC means it's a wind up. Hopefully it still happens.
Well, it says it's an official account - so who knows! Waiting for Richard Graves at Cottingham training ground!
If this is true it is a massive loan signing. Ben Arfa is a class above and a brilliant creative attacking midfielder....exactly what we need!! Only question is can Bruce work his magic and turn the moody and unpredictable sod into the kind of team player that he wants. I pray that this works out. What a massive improvement on Cleverley this would be. Along with Diamey it would transform our midfield.
I always think the fans view of losing a player says a lot about the player's quality. Read the comments on this to see what the Geordies think of Ben Arfa: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor.../newcastle-united-transfers-hatem-ben-7704120
He's pissed Pardew off too many times. Reports back after close season overweight. Doesn't do his remedial training when injured. In games he doesn't track back. He is selfish. Too greedy. Other players find him difficult to play with cos he's unpredictable and loses the ball, then make no effort to close players down. Can start an argument in an empty room. Yet, is the type of player who can win a game on his own.
Oh god, they're not happy and rightly so. Reckon Brucey told Pardew he owed us one after the whole Meyler problem? So he sent us his best player?
What kind of bullshit have you just found? "The move comes after Ben Arfa snubbed a move to Birmingham City." Who writes this ****?
This is Ben Arfa we're talking about. He's probably at a service station playing on time cop 2, lazy ****.
