Heart says De Boer, head says Beardsley, gut says Pardew.
So basically, you have a delusional heart and head, and a dose of the s***s, that's bad..
Heart says De Boer, head says Beardsley, gut says Pardew.
For me, I only mentioned him as the most likely replacement at this stage. As we know, when a member of staff leaves NUFC, they're not actually replaced, i.e. Llambias left, Charnley moved into his role and more or less no-one took Charnley's role, when Donachie was moved on, Beardsley took the reigns and he in turn wasn't replaced. So it follows that Ashley's circle of trust is so pathetically, obscenely small that Beardsley replaces Pardew, Stone takes the U-21's and we don't then get another first team coach. We're basically gearing up for relegation, though Ashley doesn't see it that way. I don't know what the fat man will do when it all crashes down this time.

Ah fair enough! Pity he is not good enough as coach/manager - probably best suited back on the pitch!
We are going down this season. Just watch.
With no bastard to score goals and us leaking goals in at the back (if Williamson or Colo gets injured with Saylor waiting in the wings it will get even worse) we will be dire trouble this season. Not to mention Captain **** Features of HMS Death Stare happily piloting us to the gigantic iceberg of relegation with a deviant smile while being double blown by Elliot and Obertan.
I hate the whole lot of them.

If and when Pardew goes I think Ashley will first turn to Carver. He will probably be left in limbo for several months as an 'Interim Manager' while Ashley decides whether he is good enough (i.e. keeps us up), as he did with Hughton.
For some reason the only name that comes to my mind of anyone decent that we might go for and who might take the job is "Whispering" Glenn Hoddle.
To be honest, I don't think we'll be far enough in the clarts at any point this season for Ashley to pull the trigger.
Hoddle would never put up with Ashley's s**te. I would like to see him here on many levels, but its been a long time out of management. Fair enough he is now back in the game but management is brutal. Particularly here. He'd know he would have to play the game as far as Mike goes, which puts him in direct opposition to the fans. There are no miracle workers, you can't spend what we do and consistently get top 10. Its just not possible. Hoddle was a very good coach and manager. Whether he still is, thats a different question. Plus you have to put up with the media scrutiny of him re-entering the game. I have no problem with his previous views, each to their own however bizarre they are. You just know though, that the local and national papers would have a field day. The Chronicle etc want Newcastle to fail because of this chirlish falling out with the club. They jump at every opportunity to snipe and be negative.
I honestly think it would be some long out of the game bang average manager who just desperately needed a job. Either that or from within like others have said. The limbo situ for 6 months would be near certain though.
There's hope, even though we've got to consider the facts - Pardew, the sneaky kent, befriended Ashley via the casinos he frequents eventually laying enough foundation to get offered the job. But what we have seen is that even those closest are not above blame or the firing line; he sacked Kinnear. Frank De Boer has openly said he'd give it a shot. David Ginola has muttered the same on several occasions. Beardsley has pushed himself further and further forward. None are more loathesome options than Pardew. What the club needs is a galvanised shot in the arm, someone to believe in. Pardew can never, ever get that now. He had a chance in finishing 5th of banishing the poor opinion, then for whatever reason wasn't supported.
Pardew is simply a **** manager and was never wanted here in the first place. He fluked 5th in his first full season when some of the football was abysmal. Now he's set into type and displayed the ineptitude that is synonymous with his management career. He is mediocre and the sooner he is out of the club, the better.
As a fan, I can take Ashley. There are much worse owners running clubs into the ground. Clubs like Leeds, Portsmouth, Coventry, Blackpool and countless others have serious, serious lunatics in charge or have had. Villa are for sale, but not likely to be sold. We ourselves have had worse, in Shepherd, Westwood and McKeag. I understand the need to remain frugal, I understand the need for self-sufficiency. What I absolutely disagree with is the corporate-led model of 'finite squad numbers', 'purple players' and posting profits. The point of a football club is not to be in the black by millions, but to be successful, generate money, reinvest and be more successful - keeping money instead of players is just fcking idiotic.
However, I cannot, as a fan, take Pardew. This sub-human atrocity enjoys a position of power and influence with nothing to back it up. He is a slimy, self-serving toe-rag, with very little talent. He is spineless, does what he's told to the detriment of everyone around him and remains above all blame and accountability. He is a loathsome, lying little turd with not one ounce of self-respect or decency. He is untrustworthy should under no discernible circumstance be anywhere near the hopes and dreams of fans. His football is awful, and we are finally finding out - and the owner should be to - that when left with enough time he will actually cost you money, due to his innate ability to "Pardew" footballers. When you need someone to be standing as a figurehead against all the troubles that go against a football club, we have Pardew - a man so despised that he's vilified for losing the ineffectual MYM and the poisonous Ben Arfa! He will effect ticket sales, team results, final team position and ultimately bottom line, so I cannot for the like of me fathom why he's here, how he's here. Even Ashley must understand that by getting a better manager, by default the opinion of him as an owner will improve, the profitability of his club will improve and the buffer of hatred will be considerably widened?
How the fck am I typing this with Pardew still managing the club?!
I actually think the loss of Mbiwa will be the one that sees Pardew lose his job. Why? Because we invested a substantial sum of money in young, promising centre back who was captain of a title winning side and had the promise to become World Class. Under Pardew's 'stewardship' he became error ridden, nervous and a shadow of his former self to the point that he isn't even worth half of his original value. Mbiwa could easily have doubled Ashley's investment but alas, the Grey Haired Beagle curbed his development.
The sooner that snot nosed, smarmy, arrogant, condescending, useless t**t is out of our club the better.
This is pretty creative stuff. He looked shaky from day 1. It was that shakiness that persuaded Blanc to ditch him before the Euros and Wenger to not follow up his initial interest. I remember watching him against Arsenal for Montpellier. He had an absolute nightmare and it was down to the same issues he had when here. He was charging out of defence without thought and had zero understanding of positional basics. You could well say that Pardew has not helped him improve, but he has been a long way from world class before he got to us, and had the issues he's shown here for quite some time.
This is the mistake I think the fans are making in my opinion. I think we overrate the players because of a hatred of Pardew and loathing of his abilities. I think it is better to seperate the two. We know what Pardew is. However I think it is time we acknowledged our transfer policy is poor. You can't run around buying B or C international players (which is all the likes of Anita, Mbiwa, Gouffran, SDJ, Cabella etc are) and expect them to make your team into a top 8 PL team. It ain't going to happen. Some will step up a level but not all of them. We have to accept what we are workign on the budgets we do. You cannot excuse players like HBA who have ruined their own career and took the piss out of the club. If we start allowing that sort of stuff the club will sink lower than a snakes belly.
I think the whole club is poor. I'm not leveling all that at Pardew who is just a dislikeable character who is happy to have a PL job on cheap wages.
For instance I hate our transfer strategy. Its completely stupid.
