He probably never saw the whole match only the highlights. Well done to Nathan Dyer,he's found his shooting boots at last. It's got to be down to Monk's management and his tactics,so well done to him too,and he should get just reward with MOTM for August.

On the subject of Garth Crooks he did a programme for the BBC about Sir Stanley Matthews. In the programme Sir Stan, one of the greatest crossers of all time, said there were only 3 passes a winger needed to make. I sometimes wish our coaches were able to access this from the archives.
Well deserved but I genuinely thought Siggy and possibly Routledge would make it. Silly me thinking Garth had an ounce of intelligence.

A number of posters have said Rangel has been poor I have disagree so it was nice to read I am not alone.

Monk sat Dyer the last bit of last season and I thought there was problems .When Monk brought in Montero I thought Dyers minutes were going to dry up for sure . Monk starts Dyer in the first team from the start of the season and Dyer is flying out of the gates .May be more to Garry Monk that meets the eye......MAYBE ....

Haven't read that Bob. I said he does have a tendency to switch off second half but he's not alone in that. His pace is terrible but that's age and he more than makes up for it in other ways imo. Generally a solid RB and has been one of my faves over the years. He links up brilliantly with Dyer, though when he loses it he just can't get back and that's a danger.
I'd rather have him than not but we need someone to seriously challenge him for his place and I'm not sure Tiendalli's the man. Great to see Rangel get some recognition in the media though.
