None of those are ball winning midfielders though. Herrera is an excellent ball player, I certainly wouldn't count Di Maria as a midfielder and it remains to be seen how Blind will take the premier league. I want a defensive midfielder who is proven at a high level who can offer the defence some protection. Someone like De Jong.
