Ryan Nelsen has left Toronto, looks like Defoe speculation will once again make an appearance on transfer deadline day.
though he was offered to City or the goons, according to the beeb sports, still glad the goons did'nt get him
ManUtd Stuff ‏@ManUtdStuff 4m Falcao's agent: "It is a permanent deal but due to the financial fair play rules the first year must be a loan." And Welbeck and Hernandez are off
Van Galling's solution to a leaky defence and lack of protection in midfield is to loan in Falcao? Turns out he;s Holland's answer to Kevin Keegan.
More like Barry Fry at the moment. Is he going to drop the 3-5-2 and go for this? De Gea Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw Blind Mata Di Maria Rooney Falcao Van Persie Pretty scary attack, but kind of flimsy in midfield.
Remy to Chelsea is an odd one...if you ignore Chelsea's previous when it comes to signing players for the sole purpose of preventing other clubs from doing so.
David Ornstein ‏@bbcsport_david 1m Arsenal very unlikely to sign anyone before deadline. Barring late surprise & a couple of squad exits, #AFC business is done #bbcdeadlineday
He'll be 2nd choice behind Costa and gives them a versatile attacking option from the bench, leaving the aging Drogba as back-up. With Schurle and Salah as emergency options up top, I'd say that they're pretty well balanced there now.
They'll be ecstatic about that at The Emirates. The fans were bloody fuming about their lack of strikers against Leicester. They should be looking to buy someone better than Giroud and push Sanogo down the pecking order into third, when everyone's fit. Wenger seems to be hoping that one of his non-strikers will come good and they're in a position to be a bit more ambitious than that. That's assuming that any of this rumour-mongering is true, of course.
I agree I think it's a good signing for them, he's certainly an upgrade on Torres and Eto'o from last year, if he can avoid injuries.
