Option to buy.
Hopefully, that makes sense because we don't commit to pay if we don't like him, and if he impresses then we can buy knowing he's done well in the PL.
Option to buy.
Does this mean we don't want/won't sign Mane? Or are we being greedy, cos I don't see a problem with that!Mr_Saintly:7001408 said:Adam Blackmore just retweeted:

Expecting announcement from Southampton later about loan deal for Sporting Lisbon winger Diego Capel. Told it's 'almost done'

Yeah, options to buy make it more of a trial than a loan, not big clubs using smaller ones to develop their players.

Not sure how I feel about all these loans because it means we'll lose players again in the summer but it's better than nothing. Also makes sense this summer as we're in a rebuilding process.
Also gets round the FFP as well.
with our sales, not an issue for us though ?
Apparently Falcao is a permanent, but the first year is a loan for FFP rules.
Question and answer in one sentence.
I giggle when I see this![]()

Kind of shows up the pointlessness of the rules to be honest.
FFP is the most pointless piece of governance ever put in place.
It's flawed, and open to abuse, certainly. It's not pointless though. It's an attempt to stop Man City and Barcelona from buying every player in the world. If they find loopholes then it's up to UEFA to close those loopholes.
