Lennon would be a very exciting signing - seems like he will leave Spurs for someone today... My bet is Stoke, I can see him in that kit..

    Cheers Tramore.

    Keeper - done!

Defensive midfielder (Diarra) - almost done.

Left back (the Croatian fella) - hope it was more than a rumour.

Striker (Lens) - Get it done! Defoe only a smokescreen imo.

#QPR have made Tottenham an offer for Sandro. Other clubs seem interested though.

    From LFW:
12.14 Toothy McTooth says QPR are in for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini on loan, potentially scuppering a move to Sunderland. Sunderland seem to be the big winners in that. And Liverpool.

I don't understand why Liverpool would loan us Borini when they could sell him to Sunderland for 14m

Borini would be a terrible signing. Very similar player to Austin but less good in the air and less pace. Sunderland and Liverpool win the transfer window

Borini' been to Sunderland for a years loan. Do you really think he would want to live there permanently? ;)

Liverpool are very keen to sell for £14m, problem is he has hesitations.

Agree. Lets hope so about Lens and Defoe. Don't understand what we want with another injured, injury prone, getting old striker, and I don't mean Lens.

We did well to get McCarthy. I've read Liverpool wanted him.

From the clubs official deadline day blog:

Seems a Twitter parody account has caught out one or two of the national press. We've been getting one or two calls from journalists inquiring about the arrival of former loanee Will Keane. One of the funnier moments today.

What? Don't they rate young Will? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

More on the spoof David McIntyre twitter account. Some fun in a so far quiet day.

    LFW:
As we come up to the headlines on the hour, behold the standard of reporting on transfer deadline day from Duncan Wright, head of online sport for the Star and the Express, who picked up a Tweet from the spoof Dave McIntyre account about QPR bidding £3.75m for Man Utd striker Will Keane, and reported it immediately as fact, while also getting his position wrong. Well played Duncan. Well played.

    David Pratintyre @davemcintyrewls
BREAKING: Manchester United accept £3.75m bid from QPR for Will Keane. 4 year deal. Player's medical imminent....

    Duncan Wright @dwright75
More talk around #QPR with a £3.75m bid for #MUFC defender Will Keane accepted according to trustworthy @davemcintyrewls

LFW: The Daily Mail the latest paper to pick up the spoof Will Keane story and run with it. See, we weren't kidding when we said they don't check this stuff.

    Embarassing reporting :emoticon-0172-mooni :emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0140-rofl:
